No kidding. Might have to re-do my playoff predictions… We’ll see how they handle the ailing Colts.
I still have the same 6 teams in mine, just have to change Eagles and Boys both to 11-5. Boys will lose the tiebreaker for the division because they have the worse division record. Then they will lose out to either the Packers or the Lions (I think the Lions because the Pack will win that division) because of conference losses.

Boys can win out and they are in, however, if they lose to the Colts and the Seahawks beat the Cardinals, they are all but dead in the water I think, I am assuming the Eagles can beat the Redskins and the Giants, which are both division games and can get weird at times.

If the Boys lose to the Colts and then beat the Skins they win the division. They would have to lose both to lose the division.

Eagles will be 5-1 in the division if they win out. Cowboys 4-2, right?

Ya if the Cowboys lose to Indy and the Eagles win out the Cowboys come second. Dallas needs to win out to be sure of the division.

EDIT: NFL.com has a very handy playoffs predictor where you put in who wins the match ups and it calculates the final standings.

Boys lose to the Colts and beat the Skins while the Eagles win out, they are both at 11-5, split head to head, Eagles 5-1 in the division, Boys 4-2. After Head to Head it would go to division record and the Eagles would win the division. Unless I am missing something.

Sorry you are all correct. Go Giants for spoiler

Then for the wild card I am thinking it will come down to the Lions, Cards, and Cowboys at 11-5. Cardinals would hold the head to head sweep over the Lions and the Cowboys so they would be in (and have already clenched); The Lions would have a Conf record of 9-3, Boys record would be 8-4.

Last interesting scenario, Boys end 11-5, Cards end 11-5, Lions beat the Packers to win the division at 12-4 dropping the Packers to 11-5. Cards go in, and the Boys would go in over the Packers (both at 8-4 in conference, Cowboys 4-1 in common games, Packers 3-2) . So the Lions could really give the Boys some breathing room by beating the Packers, Say thank you Bills for upping the crazy factor of the last two weeks.

I tell you what, if the bills had played better earlier on they could really shake the playoffs up. As it stands I don’t see them getting in though.

AFC race is basically going to be decide by three games Chiefs vs Steelers in week 16, Bengals vs Steelers and Chiefs vs Chargers week 17. Ravens are in a win one and your in situation, 3 others are locked divisions, And we essiantially have a playoff atmosphere for those four teams involved in those games (Chargers also have to beat the 9ers or they are out of it, and I am assuming the Bengals will lose to the Broncos which is not a sure thing)

Ya, I’m curious to see how the North pans out.

Interesting turn of events. I honestly can see Garrett’s stamp on this team now, he is for sure trying to put together what he backed up for years. They have consistently shown this year when down a very quiet resolve to fight back. I still think we have serious issues on the defensive line, but the resolve this team has shown this year has been impressive.

Cowboys 2-0 in December with Romo playing well.
Awesome!

And the Bills can still make it, as long as they win out, the Steelers win out, the Chargers lose at least one, and the Broncos beat the Bengals.

The iggles just might lose another. The Giants have a great shot at beating them. The Eagles are going to have a hell of a time stopping Becham (sp?) And their TE

I haven’t looked at the playoff picture in depth, but if the Cowboys win out and a couple teams lose the Cowboys can get home field advantage.

The playoffs have already started for the Boys every game here on out is a must win…then we get #6

If the Boys beat the Colts, the Lions and the Packers win, then the Eagles are dead.

If the Packers go 1-1, as long as the Seahawks win the West, then the door is open for the Cowboys to get homefield if they win out. There are some very interesting games in that regard two. Who would have guessed that week 17 Detroit vs Green Bay would have carried this much weight. Things are really interesting between the Packers, Lions, Eagles, Cowboys, and to some degree the Seahawks, with the locked in Cardinals jockeying for position. Really that should be your 6 NFC playoff teams and just leave the south out of it but the Saints, Falcons, or possibly Panthers are going to squeak in there to get crushed.

Man, in this league and with home field advantage you just never know. I could see the Saints or Falcons pulling a round 1 upset.

That’s true. The Saints know all about that from a few years back going into a 7-9 Seattle and losing.

Or resign. There is a short list of people who are trying to hire him already.
