I dunno Harbaugh always seemed like a whiney little bitch to me though, I think it’s completely plausible that the refs were taking the balls at halftime regardless. Which means they were tipped off before the interception.

I’m not sure what else I need to say, I’m not defending Rodgers. It’s a completely separate thing. It would be like me say, “well Suggs got away with throwing Bleach on his girlfriend so Ray Rice shouldn’t be punished.” No they should both be suspended, fined, etc… Again, though, the difference is that we all saw Ray Rice punch is girlfriend and there were no legal issues (IIRC) from the Suggs incident. They’re both pieces of shit though.

If the Packers, before the game, handed the refs a dozen deflated balls - flat as a pancake - is it cheating? No. The refs would be responsible for bringing the balls up the the appropriate pressure.
Likewise, if the Packers handed the refs a dozen balls that were so over-inflated they looked like basketballs with laces, is it cheating. No. The ref would probably look at the equipment manager like he’s an asshole, but then would let air out until they are at the appropriate pressure.
That is the ref’s job
As it stands right now, the league is concerned that after the refs had already inspected the balls someone from the Patriot’s organization tampered with them, probably by letting air out surreptitiously using an inflation needle while they were being stored in a bag.
If you can’t see the difference it’s only because Brady’s balls are hanging over your eyes.
