If i do 70mph in a 65mph zone, i am technically speeding and it’s illegal but does it actually matter? Not really, unless you’re a real asshole of a cop, or just a real bored cop, or looking to fill a quota.
At the presser, Bellichick denies ever having anything to do with the balls; throws Brady under the bus.
Brady addresses team privately this AM.

This is how I feel about every Rex Ryan defense, lol.
And why the signing in Buffalo really sucks (for me). I have to stress about those games every year again. And when Tommy retires watch him walk that team into playoff success.
Not w/o a QB
And a couple of gaurds. And a tight end. And a power running back. And possibly a safety. Potentially a corner. And maybe even a big fat ass defensive tackle.
I’m really interested to see if Ryan does a better job tailoring his play calling than Pettine did, or if the roster gets shuffled to fit his scheme sufficiently to run it without wasting talent. They got torched a lot in 2013 being fancy when they didn’t need to be. It’s gimmicky. You’ve got 3 pro bowl defensive lineman, and a 4th on the verge and you’re gonna drop one of them into pass coverage so you can safety blitz? Are you fucking retarded? Not to mention Darius / Williams / Williams are all about 20 pounds under weight to be 3-4 lineman. In 2015 Alonso will be back, and there will be a trio of very talented, 3 down, young linebackers with only 2 spots on the field. Someone gonna ride the bench and wait for an injury, or they gonna trade someone away? Move Alonso to safety? The fuck? Shits annoying.
On the bright side the QB situation should be solved in 2016 with the #1 pick over all… at least until that ends in a bust.
Hope I’m wrong, but shit won’t surprise me.

haha, Yeah. I’m sure that it’s eating that locker room up.
In other news, the Hawks are being pretty damn classy about the whole thing, and good for them. I’ll be honest, Sherman might be the smartest guy on the field at any given moment. Maybe not the smartest football guy every play, but raw intelligence… lol he is sharp.

Oh it’s eating them up. I just know it!
Sherman’s been critical of Brady. He is definitely an intelligent person no doubt.

Yeah but not about the PSI bullshit. Actual criticism.
Speaking of him, was he hamming it up during the game or is it more than a “sprain”?
I don’t believe for one second a “sprain” causes that much reaction from someone who tackles 220lb freaks running full speed for a living.

Ya, agreed.
I think he was baiting Rodgers personally. That’s what I thought during the game anyway. It’s hard to tell though.

I don’t think he was hamming it up. I was watching him close the rest of the game and even when he stabbed in his press he kept that arm real tight, there’s no way he’s doing that mid-play(consciously disarming thousands of repetitions of muscle memory) to bait Rodgers. Something got hurt, and while ‘sprain’ alone makes you think minor injury, a 2nd and especially a 3rd degree sprain is serious shit.
Trust and believe Sherman is probably sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber and getting PRP injections. A big time NFL player like him will have prime access to state of the art stuff like that.
The hit that injured Sherman essentially bent his arm and elbow joint the wrong way between 2 people, i thought it was broken after watching the play. Why Rodgers dint go at him is confusing.

Sherman is in Rodgers head comparably to how Harrison and Law were running around ruining Peyton’s dreams. Sometimes a DB just gets to a QB.

I think this point is getting overblown. Sherman still had his legs, hips, and right arm 100%, and for a right handed DB that means he’s actually like 90% effective. Maybe he drops an INT he should catch, but he’s still a monstrous disruptive force in pass defense. If anything is really effected it’s his tackling, maybe they should’ve run more to his side or thrown some screens out that way, but that’s not really ‘going at him’ from the standpoint most people are thinking of it(throw downfield to his man).

Fair point, but if dude is hurt bad enough to do what he did between plays, you can’t tell me running didn’t make it feel 10x worse.
Some shit doesn’t add up about it is all. I think he might be underplaying the injury to play next week, and that is fine by me, his choice lol. But it just doesn’t seem like someone that banged up would still be a major enough asset where Nelson and Rodgers couldn’t get past him.
We’re talking about freaks of nature out there, that play through a lot of pain. He couldn’t even (or was hamming it up) cover up the fact he was very hurt. And that hurt puts him less than 90%. But I’m not looking to get into a “he was 80% v he was 90%” argument here.

I’m starting to think more and more that it was the Ravens who brought this to light.
Did you hear the Jackson interview where he denied noticing the ball was deflated?
Seems kinda odd that a week after Brady tells the Ravens to learn the rules, he gets “caught” breaking them…allegedly.

Ya, I’ve heard reports that the Raven’s gave the Colts a heads up. I’m not sure if it’s true or not. I didn’t head the Jackson interview.
It is pretty ironic Brady said that about Harbaugh and now New England is in this mess.
