Matty,

Again. I’m not saying it’s right. Nor am I’m saying they don’t deserve to get shit on.

I’m saying, it gets pretty old, pretty fast when they are held to a standard that the rest of the cheating isn’t.
Well that could of saved pages of arguing…asshole
LMAO.

Missed this in my wild ranting.

I love all you fuckers, and I hope you know that. This is all in good fun, and I’ll be sick of bitching and moaning by tomorrow.

So it’s only cheating when you get caught huh?

Interesting.
Lol, I’m just messing with you at this point. I think PED users should get a minimum of a year suspension and 2 strikes you’re out.

I mean who didn’t see that coming.

Also, that’s on a screen right now for the whole team to see. Keep this shit up guys, please.
They’re gonna need something when Brady gets suspended a game…

Like that would ever happen.

No, but we can’t exactly penalize people for something they didn’t get caught doing either.

I mean, what are we, the MLB Hall of Fame voters?

Seriously though, do you want everyone else to just say ‘oh golly gee I guess it’s ok that the Pats broke the rules again, because we’re pretty sure other people do it too.’

Is there some overreaction happening? Ya possibly. You know what’s making that reaction worse? Pats fans like you acting like everyone else is ONLY on it because they hate your team. Your arrogance is off the fucking charts right now.

See, I go the other way. I think they should be assigned a special doctor, 30-80k of their salary should go to foster children’s charities and they should be consulted about the dangers, but have them administered so they dont’ fuck up their quality of life.

Particularly if we’re talking football. If someone is willing to put their well being on the line, and add drugs on top of it… Fuck it. I don’t care.

But I’m a pats fan, apparently that makes me like cheaters.

That’s just good football. Beans, you are losing it.
lmao. Right.

Using gear (cheating) = good football.
Any other advantage taken by the pats (cheating) = actually cheating.
Try and keep it together man.
You’re fucking with me right? I mean you admitted as much a couple pages ago.
Of course I am. In any event, Brady and Belichick are probably only going to get a 1 game suspension. I mean, what’s one game?

No but: “Hey look, they bent the rules/cheated, what fuckers. It isn’t like this type of shit isn’t rampant in professional sports, so tag em a fine and crack jokes” is reasonable. I’ve read people talking about how it is representative of our shit culture, they should be stripped from the Superbowl, Bill fired, etc.

You call me arrogant, yet ignore how fucking over the top some people are being about this.

The fact you said possibly and not just “yes” is my point.

People are ONLY on it because it’s the pats. Until people talk about the Hawks love of getting popped for PEDs, Rodger’s cheating, etc with the same vigor and fervor, I have a point.

One man’s arrogance is another man’s avoidance of work today…

I’ve got nothing against steroid use, but I don’t like cheating. If the NFL changes the rules they can juice all they want to.

See you’re still doing it.

People absolutely get at the Hawks for their PED pops, along with all of the other individual players on other teams that it happens to. And you know what, those players also get suspended for their cheating.

Rodgers does not cheat. He overinflates the balls to his preference, hands them to the ref to do his job(deflate them). It probably increases his chance that the ball still ends up at the top end of the allowed spectrum, or maybe even above it, but he followed the rules. The Pats handed balls to the refs, who inspected them, and then somehow at halftime when they were re-inspected 11 of the 12 were ~2 PSI under the limit, while all 12 Colts balls which were also inspected were fine.

Everyone else is the bad guy, maybe, kind of, please don’t hate my Pats!
red04 wrote:

lol, again, my point made for me again.

Because he cheats at time A, he is good to go. Pats cheat at time B allegedly, and they are deserving of tainted legacy.

I’d like to see a link to anyone saying the Hawks win last year was tainted by the rampant PED use if you have one. I missed it. (I don’t really ready any sports so it is entirely possible you’re correct and it gets blow up as much as this bullshit.)

“Hey guys, I handed the cop my beer before I sat in my car, no DUI for me. All you suckers that drank one on the way home are cheating fucks.” - Rodgers if he worked in construction or accounting.

You’re being incredibly juvenile right now.

That’s a terrible comparison…

A better one would be, a cop gave Rodgers a breathalyzer before he got in his car, he was over the limit, so he made him wait until he was under the limit.

On the flip side, Brady take the breathalyzer and is under the limit so the cop lets him get in his car, then he takes a half dozen hits from a flask in his pocket and drives away over the limit.

Don’t you see the difference? Rodgers was stopped before he technically cheated while Brady purposefully (allegedly) reduced the air after the officials checked the game balls in order to gain an advantage (cheat) which he arguably did.

I know. It’s my only early night this week, and I don’t have much time left so I’m getting my shots in now before I leave.

I don’t give anywhere near the fucks about this that it seems. And I’m not about to continue beating this dead horse tomorrow so… I figured wth, I’ll toss out some shit as ridiculous as the justification of other people’s cheating I’ve read today.

Yeah, Rodgers smiles in the face of the official while he cheats, but that’s cool, because he isn’t on the Pats. I get it.

That’s… not at all what I expected to read in reply. I have no issues with this.

If someone purposely over inflates the ball it is cheating. Period. Full stop. Just because he hands the ball to the ref after, and the ref may or may not correct his cheating, doesn’t mean he didn’t purposely break a rule in order to gain an advantage. Not being “sneaky” about it doesn’t make it okay.

Breaking the rules is cheating. Rodgers purposely does so, and apparently gets caught every week. Sims announces it on air, no one gives a flying fuck…

Nope no reason pats fans should be sick of this shit, none at all.

I am pretty sure that a lot of teams had some sort of bounty program similar to that of the Saints yet we were the only ones who got crushed. And no it wasn’t comparable to spygate’s punishment. Not even close.

Teams will screw with the balls, literally every team does. Teams try to catch the other teams signals, they all do. It just happens, its not that big of a deal that this much time should be devoted to it. Other teams try to hurt people (possible evidence of a bounty) like Suggs and Suh, and Rodney Harrison back in the day.

Can we talk about how we think Todd Bowles and Chan Gailey will do with the Jets now?

Also any team who benefitted from the Tuck Rule and gets the benefit of the “Don’t you dare hurt the top QB’s who cant move” (Saints, Pats, Broncos) rules cant complain to much about how unfair they are treated.

End of the day:

Yes the Pats are dirty as fuck. No I don’t care. They don’t pay my bills and I just like watching them play and routing for a team who happens to be good. In 3 years when they can’t win 6 games, none of this will matter, and I’ll still be entertained watching the games.

Bill is a smug cocksucker, and a damn good coach.

Brady is a smug bitch, and a damn good QB.

Rodney Harrison was dirty as fuck too, and I loved him lol.

Does it make me a bad person? I don’t think so. Does it make them a bad organization? I don’t care, lol.

I do appreciate the fact you guys listened to me all day, and I’m not saying everything I said was bullshit, it wasn’t. I think I did make some valid points. But I really don’t care about this topic anywhere near as much as it seems.
