Thank you.

Thank you so much.

That, in one sentence is my entire point about all this nonsense.
That is one example and a temporary cheat at best.

Officials touched the Pats “under inflated balls” between every play (and according to Matty’s report) this has been going on all season. Never stopped it.

And let’s be real here, Blount ran for a buck 50 and outscored the Colts all by himself. And it isn’t like the underinflated balls held the colts to 7 points. The inflation didn’t influence the game.
The ball weighed less, Blount was able to run faster :open_mouth:

I read an article on yahoo earlier about how a few pounds isn’t noticeable to the touch, but absolutely impactes catches. I’ll have to see if I can find it. My guess would be the officials knew the balls had been tested so thought they were fine. No one tests the temperature of the balls…

Dude, the Pats crushed the Colts. I don’t think anyone is arguing that this actually affected that game.

Last question then Ill drop it…I think.

If the Pats were found guilty again of intentionally trying to get an advantage during games, by deflating these footballs in conjunction with spy gate, as a Pat fan does it taint the success for your team…even a little?
Does it taint the success? No. It is irritating and makes me like sports less, which is happening anyway, but faster now.

I’ll be honest, liking this team is hard. Brady really is an annoying whiny bitch and Bill is an obnoxious cunt. But, he likes “dirt dog” type players, blue collar throw away guys, and I like them types too.

They cut their murderers and have so far not had any wife beaters, super drunks, or other super nefarious malcontents stay on the team, and they win games…
and how come nobody called me out for me saying “taint” so many times.
I’ve been talking about balls all day… Taint is mild.

Come on with this shit. Give me a break.

You either cheated or you didn’t.

Fantastic stuff in Grantland column by Andrew Sharp. #DeflateGate

Perfectly stated here:
“Honestly, this is just like Spygate. You?ll see what you want to see. If you hate the Patriots, it?s proof they?ve been cheating all along. If you love the Patriots, it?s embarrassing and frustrating but ultimately overblown. Plenty of teams mess with their quarterback?s football. No amount of deflated footballs explains the beating the Colts took this week.”

Further:
“Seriously, this might be the dumbest sports scandal of my lifetime. Keep an eye on the millions of people debating underinflated balls, Avogadro?s law, and what NFL rules say about pounds per square inch. No matter what happens from here, we will all look back five years from now and be baffled that any of this really happened.”

Come on man, you’re a smart guy, it was 12 degrees during this game. How long do you think the balls stayed “heated?” 30, 60, 180 seconds? Is that even a play? How long did the balls stay deflated in the Pats/Colts game? 60 minutes. Do you really think this was the first time the Pats did this? Obviously not.

Further it was, “sideline attendants using heaters to warm up game balls, which is against league rules,” and the officials put a stop to it. Not Tom Brady, who is 100% the person this should be put on. Some ball boy didn’t do this on his own.

Panthers should of gotten a flag at best. It’s hardly cheating.

You’re being ridiculous right now.

Is kissing another girl cheating on your wife? How about a blow job?
Is fucking her cheating? What if it is only once?

“Hardly cheating”?

Translation: I’ve been right this entire thread and the only reason any one of you gives a fuck is because it’s the Pats. The Raiders got caught doing this and it wouldn’t even have made a headline.

I am not being ridiculous, Jesus… Lol… Fuck man, lol…

The Panther’s ball boys were probably just trying to keep their hands from freezing off, but fine. You win. The intent to cheat was there and the Panther’s should have been fined or whatever. It is hardly the same though. The difference between the two “scandals” is laughably huge. One is like doing 65 in a 60 and the other is like doing 65 in a 60 after having a 12 pack, a few shots, and blunt.

The Raiders being caught would be like catching a special needs kid stealing a cookie, I mean A for effort kid.
Derek542 wrote:

Actually it’s my entire argument. Fuckers across every sport at every level cheat. Whether it be the fact the NBA has more non-called travels than NYC has hookers or the Saints paying players to injure people for the advantage…

But I’ve never seen more people justify the cheating everyone else does in an attempt to shame one than I do when the Pats cheat.

Seattle’s entire defensive scheme is built upon gassing smart fuckers up on gear and sending them to kill people. No one gives two shits. A little bit of air gets let out of a ball and its “well, so and so wasn’t REAL cheating, but letting air out of a ball… Yeah, they are a tainted franchise.”

Just keep all this rationalization and justification for everyone else’s cheating in mind going forward please.

That’s just good football. Beans, you are losing it.

lmao. Right.

Using gear (cheating) = good football.
Any other advantage taken by the pats (cheating) = actually cheating.

I mean who didn’t see that coming.

Also, that’s on a screen right now for the whole team to see. Keep this shit up guys, please.

So it’s only cheating when you get caught huh?

Interesting.
