It’s silly because of what I stated of both players on both teams being on PEDs. Again it’s not about the ball deflation it’s about being caught again. I think it takes away from their greatness a bit. Or that’s what I’m telling myself lol!

To be clear I’m not saying that the patriots have not been a great team for an eternity .
And that’s the only reason this is news.
Again, the Panthers illegally heated balls, but they suck as a franchise so no one gives a shit.
Someone posted the Tomlin thing where he interfered with a return last year or the year before. I’d say that is a metric fuck ton worse than Ball Pressure. I’m going to get roasted by Pats fans for saying this but I still and will always love Tomlin. The dude is legit, passionate, fields a good well coached team and is a natural born winner.
I guess the point is, if this puts an asterisk on the wins for people and helps them sleep at night, good, I’m happy for them. But it really is a bullshit issue, big picture.
On another note I probably won’t listen to any sports talk for the next two weeks to me it’s mind numbing drivel for 2 weeks.

Were you listening this morning when they guy was going on and on about being done with the Patriots and how sick he was at these 2 scandals? Some of the people that call in are so over the top.

Lol yea me an my area manager were going WTF, sell all your jersey’s etc. lol
Bob Papa was like whatever dude get over yourself.
Ugh every fucking caller wants to expound on how this should be handled. I mean really?
Beans what is the line on this game?
Anybody think Lynch runs for over 150?

No, but I think Wilson will run a lot more.

Ya it was pretty funny. Guy sounded so depressed like someone killed his dog.

I dont think so. The Packers spied him out and I think the Pats will have the same game plan.

Even last I checked.
All I’m saying is look what happened in 07. People should keep talking about and shitting on the Pats calling them cheaters. Outside of one hiccup (coming at the worst time possible) it didn’t work out so well for the rest fo the league that year.
So, given the new bulletin board material… I’m not sure Lynch and Co are ready for what might await them.
Or it could go the other way and Seattle stomps them.

I donno, we’ll see. I think they’ll take Lynch away, which is why I think Wilson will have around 50 yards running.

Both teams have shitty WR’s compared to a lot in the league, but both have bruising RB’s and stout defenses. This could end up a low scoring game of keep away.

Pat’s D isn’t really that good at stopping the run, and this is one of the best running backs they’ve face in, shit, years.
When was the last time the sb was a pickem?
Dunno why, but it kind of reminds me of the NHL and illegal stick curves. Everybody in the league knows who likes a bit of extra curve, but they only get called on it when they have a big game, or someone needs an extra 2 minutes in crunch time.
McSorley in the 93 cup comes to mind.

I think it comes down to Seattle’s run game (both Lynch & Wilson). If NE can stop it, they win. I don’t see Wilson and his receivers being able to put up any decent numbers against the Pats secondary.
On a bad day (outside of Kansas City), Brady and the offense can put up 21-24. (But I guess they said the same thing about Manning last year. LOL)

Cowboys sign Dez yet? Who’s getting cut this year to get back under the cap?

2) Aaron Rodgers openly admitted he has the game ball pumped up to help him get a better grip on the ball. Essentially Aaron Rodgers admitted to cheating and therefore shouldn’t a punishment also be coming down on the Packers?

My understanding is you can have the ball pumped to high or low within the tolerances then they are inspected; they are not supposed to be monkeyed with after they are inspected.
Fuck, I just saw Derek’s feeble plea for actual football talk. Sorry. Carryon.
I’m not picking on you Matty on purpose, but I can’t let this go…

This Joey Porter interview holds even more creedence now…

From the interview:
At the same time, people that played against them on the field, we know. Who they got on that team beside Tom Brady? It’s not like they’ve got a gang of dogs over there. They have a bunch of all right guys. You know what I mean? Not no just real dogs. They’ve got some beasts on the D line and stuff like that but …
Johnson: You can’t possibly think, three Super Bowls … You think they cheated in every single one of them games?
Porter: Man, I’m going to tell you, I’m taking that to the grave, man. I don’t care what nobody say.
Johnson: What about last year? All the glamour, glitz and glamour, 16-0. You think they were cheating then?
Porter: I don’t know. You know, I don’t know. Maybe he found a new way to do it or not to tell you the truth. The boy cold, man. He showed us he’s cold. The boy cold, man. Hey, the boy cold, man. He showed us man. He cold.
I don’t trust him.
Translated: They got caught doing the same video taping every other team did and still does, from the wrong section of the ballpark, and I feel like I’m more talented than the other players on their team. Therefore the only reason I lost is they HAD to cheated. I’m too good to lose to THEM!
Sounds like… A highschool girl angry at a prom date.
I get it. I used to hate the Yankees like people hate the Pats.
