Right now I have one more day of benching and then I’ll squat on Tuesday.

After that I’m shutting it down until the meet.

Early Friday morning I’ll make the five hour drive to Knoxsville and check in at the hotel. After that I’ll need to find food sources.

Under ate and my lifts were shit.

I’m still going to have my three attempts be 225, 245, 255 so we’ll see what happens. No more benching until the meet.

You may be on to something with this “attempt a weight and just miss it one week and then get it the next week” principle. It seems to be working well for you.

Me either, I squat tomorrow and then I shut it down. I’ve already got most of my numbers in mind so nothing much to do but knock out this squat session and then relax.

All of my squats today sucked. Everything was high, and I mena bad high, the bar kept slipping and my wraps were all fucked up. Hopefully it was just me having a really shitty day at work but its really making me rethink my 275/305/330 plan. Everything went wrong on the 330 and I cut it super high. Might not have warmed up enough.

Just let it go and move on. You were already having a crappy day at work and perhaps you just carried it over. Today is done and over and you will know when you are warmming up pre meet what will be best for your lifts.
