2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Yeah Bruins! Possible Savard return to play either the Pens or Flyers? Things are looking prettyyy prettyyy pretty good.

Detroit and Phoenix game 7 tonight, I am excited for this one. I have been impressed by the Coyotes in this series; they are definitely worthy of being where they are.

Also, Washington is getting pushed to the edge by Montreal. I’d love to see the Habs pull that out in the 7th game tomorrow. They have played so hard and simply outworked Washington all series. Plus Halak is a monster in net. Should be a good one.

Def excited for Detroit/Phoenix.

Oh, and take that Nashville. Good effort by those guys, though, along with the coach.

Vancouver’s next.

I also hope the Coyotes can take out the Red Wings tonight, either way, the winner of that series is going to be another tough test for the chompers.[/quote]

fuck you!
Wings win 5-2 game 7

WHOOP WHOOP!!!

Now you’re all in for it!

I’m definitely going to tune in at 9 for D v P though. Just hope it doesn’t go into ridiculous overtimes.

Halak is a beast as well. If the 8,7 and 6’th seed teams all make it to the second round it should make things very interesting.

You shut your dirty mouth.

In reality though, it’s true- Washington has played like crap for all but 1. Habs have made us look horrible!

When is game 1?

This is going to be one heck of a battle. Byfuglien and Lou, Kesler and Ladd…

Friday or Saturday from what I can tell. The Canucks-Hawks series last year was fucking nuts, so these two teams are gonna fuckin’ bring it. An epic series awaits. IMO it will go to 7 games.

Whew, what a game by the Red Wings! That was by far the best performance I’ve seen from them this year. Absolutely dominant from start to finish.

My hat goes off to Phoenix and their fans for putting up a great series. They panned the camera around the stadium at the end and everyone was standing giving their team an ovation, after they just got whooped 6-1. It looked like hardly anyone had left the building. That made me smile; to see that kind of dedication was awesome.

Bring on San Jose!!

We will now that we realize that the playoffs have started.

I’m just a big friggin’ girl…
We went out to Ikea last night. My wife thought she recognized the “Guy in the grey hoodie” so I went back to get a look at the leading goal-scorer of the 2010 playoffs. It seems that on an off night in Vancouver, Samuelsson takes his kid out to Ikea. I “surreptitiously but frantically” signaled to my wife to give me her phone, but by the time she got it to me, he had zipped out the door. I’m usually pretty laid back about things like this, but for some reason, I did an imitation of my dog when he’s spotted a squirrel.

Oui oui!!

WOW.

Bruins v Habs conference finals me thinks?

!

I have nothing against Washington, but I was cheering for the Habs tonight and REALLY started cheering for Halak. He put on an absolute clinic and deserved that game. Washington had lots of chances despite generally solid D from Montreal. Halak won it for them. At one point SOG were like 33-12 in favor of the Caps with Montreal holding a 1-0 lead. The shutout would have been the icing, but I have a feeling they’ll take the win.

I only caught the end of this game but caught game 6 and he was awesome too. That would have been a great game to be in Montreal for.

Halak was amazing, and it’s always entertaining to see the 8 seed take down the 1 seed (as long as it’s not the Sharks). Props to the Habs!

Can’t wait for the Sharks and Wings to get their series underway tomorrow, should be an amazing match-up. Our Canada line better show up or it could get ugly.

I’m also excited to see Savard back in action in the second round, he is a great player and will be skating with a little something extra.
