I can’t believe Brodour is letting in these slappers from so far out. Briere’s shot didn’t look like his D was in the way either. Nice to see Jeff C get a couple. His foot is still swollen and he doesen’t have his legs back yet from the lay-off but it’s better each day.

How about Carcillo, I love his nickname on the team, Carbomb lol, it’s even on his sticks.

Bond,

Which teams do you support for sports like football, hockey, bball, baseball, etc? I haven’t been able to figure this out b/c you seem pretty knowledgeable on a lot of different ones… Just curious

He’s still making crazy saves.

Brodour was good 5 years ago. He isn’t the same and the game of hockey doesn’t fit his stand up/sprawling at times style of play…he takes up a quarter of the net! NJ is doomed.

Brodeur is one of the top two goalies to ever play the game, I don’t think he is the problem (I do agree that he isn’t nearly as dominant as he once was). Philly is simply playing better hockey, the same was true during the regular season when they dominated NJ.

These playoffs have been epic thus far, and they have had the highest ratings since the 2002 playoffs. Total entertainment every night.

They are just as bad as the Sharks are in the playoffs :stuck_out_tongue:
and yea, its wicked to see ratings so high…even higher than NBA!

HAIL SATAN!!!

Bruins lead the series 3-1

Watching these two goalies go at it is unbelievable.

Seriously, Ryan Miller is playing out of his mind, and still losing, because the other keeper is right there with him.

Ha, seems to be the only series where both goalies bring their A game every game. Great matchup. All of the playoff series’ have been incredible to this point IMO. I love hockey, and I’m glad it’s getting better and better now that the lockout is a distant memory.

Same here.

Looks like Crosby has decided that it’s his job to carry the Pens on his back. He’s playing out of his mind right now. One more W and it’s on to the conference semis…

Jeff Carter is out for the year. Prongers shot from the point on Jeff’s second goal broke his right foot. It was his left that was healing up from another blocked shot. Fuckin’ hell.

Gagne is out too. With the series going back to NJ, this should be very interesting to watch.

1 more, CAPS! 1. fucking. more!

Wow, those are two very talented players to lose at the same time. I know Carter wasn’t at 100% before, but he’s still a hell of a player. And Gagne’s been so good for so long and has a ton of playoff/big game experience. I’m interested to see if anyone can step up, but they have been playing really well as a team lately.

On an unrelated note, is anyone else wondering if the Sharks and Blackhawks are going to start playing at some point?

Well, the Flyers pulled through and are the first team to advance and Giroux stepped it up for sure - wonder if they can make it last through the next round.

F*CKING AVS!!! Seriously put the puck on the net, quit looking for the ESPN goal and just start throwing it that way!

And the officiating REALLY??? A 2-1 advantage on power plays to the Sharks in the playoffs?

Luckily we have game 6 back here, hopefully they can push a game 7.

Boston’s getting their asses handed to them tonight so far. 3-0 in the 2nd p.

Worst part is if they lose this that two years in a row boston could be eliminated after having a 3-1 series lead.

On the other hand, push on B’s, if you do, Marc Savard will be waiting to join next round…

Whew, it was a nail biter for a while in Phoenix, but Detroit pulled through in the end. And Zetterberg had one of the best empty net goals I’ve ever seen. I still don’t know how he got it to go in. Phoenix defended it perfectly and had 3 guys back covering their net lol. One more win (hopefully at the Joe tomorrow) and they’re in the second round.

Been out of town, sorry for the delay. GO SHARKS!

Took 'em a little while to get going, but they finished off the Avs fairly quickly and will get some extra rest before the next round.

Now the Team Canada line just needs to realize what’s at stake and turn on their engines.

I also hope the Coyotes can take out the Red Wings tonight, either way, the winner of that series is going to be another tough test for the chompers.
