That’s an interesting scenario. Dantoni coaches in NY. The number one destination on the rumor mill right now is Chicago. Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, potentially Lebron and cap space to sign another top tier player and Lebron is changing his number from 23 this year so it doesn’t compete with Jordan’s.
As I stated, James would never go near Chicago. The guy’s scared of Jordan’s legacy, that’s why he’s changing his number so he won’t have to compete with the GOAT. I’ll predict that as long as Jordan’s still in peoples memory no superstar player would sign there. Too much pressure.
No he isn’t. Either Chicago or L.A. would be the best places for Lebron to win imo. I’m hoping for Chicago that team is won star player short of being an elite team in the east regardless if James decides to go their.
Dude, what you think and reality have proven to be two entirely different things. Chicago isn’t even a consideration in James’ mind, and I don’t give a shit what some dickriding headline chasing sportscaster has to say. HE WOULD NEVER GO THERE, END OF STORY.
Now I know why you’re a know it all YOU CAN READ MINDS!!!
No, I just know a guy who’s scared of being eclipsed by the shadow of greatness when I see him. Actually, it would be foolish for anyone to go to Chicago. Just a few years ago they were talking about Bryant going there. Anytime any big name free agent comes up Chicago is tossed in the mix.
It’s unfair for most of these guys 'cause they will always be compared to what Jordan did, and let’s be honest, no one can live up to that.
So the caliber of coach has no impact on the quality of the player? Dude w/e you obviously have some sort of opinion complex because my ‘valid point’ hold as much weight as yours.

Did I say that? I said that no matter what Bryant would be in the HOF. Jerry West said Bryant had the best personal workout he’s ever seen, and that was as a 17 year old kid.
Jackson’s probably reigned in Bryant and helped him with quite a few things, but to say what you did is a bit much. You’ve said some absolutely ridiculous things throughout this thread, so no I don’t think your opinion carries much weight on this subject.

They discussed this on PTI recently, talking about how they doubt ANY big name free agent wants to go there, because for another 15-20 years until MJ is long gone from the minds of fans, you wouldn’t be accepted until the day you won your 7th ring, because even if you tied him with 6, it would just be “well he did it better.”
Basically their opinion was that the only people that are heading to Chicago, are those that don’t mind the possibility of not ever being better than Jordan. That’s not to say anyone will accomplish that, but if it is a goal you even dream of reaching, playing there will only play against it.

I honestly can’t think of the last big name free agent that signed there. I can’t even really think of any middle of the pack guys that signed there either. Almost everyone they have is through the draft or through trades. I really like the current Bulls roster, and Derrick Rose has turned out way better than I thought he would, but they’re in a tough spot now. Too good to get quality picks through the draft and not good enough to do serious damage in the post season. If anyone were to do it I’d think it would be Wade 'cause that’s his hometwon, but I think he’ll re-sign with Miami. Looks like the Bulls are gonna be in limbo for awhile.

Jerry West the dame dude that said Lebron has surpassed Kobe.

And this is why James looked distracted in the last few games they lost to the Celtics? Because He found out his Mom slept with Delonte West?!?!? This has to be a joke otherwise this would be huge. Lebron James mom responsible for denying a championship to the city of Cleveland!

This has got to be the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever heard. People can’t accept that James just doesn’t have “it” so they come up with the lamest fucking excuses in his defense. “If his mom hadn’t fucked West we’d be thrwing a fucking parade right now!!!” give me a break.

That’ll change this offseason.
How often can you be wrong before you just shut the fuck up?

There is no excuses!!!
but if you find out that your teamate fucked your mom and you have to play with him, you better believe is gonna fuck up your game a bit.

Dude, even if West fucked his mom do you really think it would affect what happens on the floor? These guys are adults [kinda]. He has a job to do and allowing someone elses personal life to dictate how he performs at his job makes no sense. There was nothing wrong with his elbow, or with his mom, or his dog or anything. It’s all an excuse for the James lovers who don’t want to admit that the guy just doesn’t have “it”. Maybe one day he will, but I’m not holding my breath.

Good point.
I’m not holding my breath either. He’s more concerned in being the first billionaire athlete that winning a championship and thats why I think theres no way in hell he returns to Cleveland.

Really didn’t think he’d leave until this past series. Now I’m all but convinced he’s gone. Don’t know why but I think Jersey’s the front-runner.
Lebron, Wade and Boch should all get together this offseason and decided to all go to the same team. Its not like any of them (especially LBJ) need a max contract. They could all sign for 2/3rds of a max contract and go to NY or NY and just run the streets! With the amount of publicity and merchandise sales they would get it would easily make up for what the “lost” by not getting the max contracts. Then they would have a serious shot at making legit title for a long time!
I dont know if those guys could actually play well together or not but it would be awesome!
