2010 NBA Playoff Thread Part 2: The Return

Serious talk Rand, win or lose will you cry?
if he gets caught up in the post game riot and gets hit with tear gas I bet he cries

.greg.

What im worried as a guy who doesnt think the lakers deserve to win the championship is that Garnett will let Gasol establish a rhythm.

What?!? The Lakers don’t deserve to win the championship?!?!

And I don’t what game you saw tonight. This was Kobe’s most complete game of the series. He was extremely efficient , got his teammates involved, scored nearly 50% from the field, scored 26 points on 19 shots, had double digit rebounds, and 4 steals. Your critcism of him is baffling. Are you kiddng me?!? He dominated this game much more than his game 5 38 point outburst.

If you haven’t noticed since last game Kobe has now figured out how to play, score and dominate the Celtics defense. You haven’t been paying much attention.

Win or Lose Randman get your girl out of their as quickly as possible. No bullshit, don’t get caught in the rioting that usually ensues because you were lagging after the game was over to get back to your car. Enjoy the game, but be safe man.
Remember, I’m a Boston Red Sox fan. The fatalistic view that your team is going to lose is a protection mechanism against utter despair.

Thanks man! We’ll be safe!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat the FUCK!!! How’d this shit mess of a fan come into creation. Please explain
dude, it’s in the previous thread. I’m from New Hampshire. I loathed the Lakers and loved the Celtics in the 1980s. Patriots fan too. I moved to LA 15 years ago, the Celtics sucked for 20, and I started following this high schooler named Kobe Bryant and somehow became a Lakers fan in the process.

It’s complicated. I don’t hate the idea of the Celtics but I do dislke this particular team. Can’t stand Paul Pierce, can’t stand Perkins, Garnett’s histrionics annoy me and his faux machismo but don’t hate him, I respect Ronso and actually like Doc Rivers but my blood runs purple and gold now.

Trust me, i’m getting so much crap from my east coast friends right now. You think the trash talking is high in here, it’s nothing compared to the onslaught I’m getting from my friends and family

The Lakers can’t lose tithe Celtics again or I’ll never hear the end of it

Dude, you know who gets the major bonus if the Lakers win the finals? Phil Jackson gets a $2 million bonus. Holy crap!

Defense wins championships. Who plays better D’s, gets on the boards and has less turnover wins. Using that criteria lakers have a 2/3 chance of winning. However 2010 Celtics are the weirdest teams Ive ever seen.

If he gets on tv post game, he needs to yell “I’m randman!”

…or, “I am a purple hippo spankin that imaginary ass!”

Either way, thats badass you get to see game 7

^^hahahahah He should totally get a huge sign that says “I am Randman!” and go crazy in the stands like a super fan until they are forced to show him on tv! that’d be awesome!

Kobe can fucken score 50 points or score a triple double, what i saw was a Celtics offense that would be ranked 25th in the league. if they want to contain him they can, the biggest threat to the celtics is pau gasol because when hes on, everyone plays well. Havnt you noticed that or do you still have a Kobe erection, geez.

lets give the lakers a little credit for playing some good D and playing with good energy… that definitely contributed to Bostons abysmal offensive performance… that and missing shots

when did I say they didnt have good energy? Credit to the lakers they’re playing like we expect them to play. But a 25 point deficit? Somethings going wrong somewhere when you lose by that much and the winner scores less than 100!

Its so weird. If he makes his first couple hes fire the whole night but if he starts of cold he just doesn’t improve. Hes a mommas boy.
