I’m glad as someone rooting for the Cs isn’t complaining about Perkins injury/knee cuz I was ready to say welcome to the Lakers’ world. No excuses. It’s even; bring on game 7.

randman im pleading you dont waste $600. Do something special with you girl instead, go to Mr. Chows, hit up Met or something, bang her in a candle lit bedroom.

What if the lakers lose? C’mon mayne globe in a 'cession.

My girl insisted we are going to this game and that she will have a job soon. I do have a fair amount of savings so screw it, we’re going to game 7.
Woo it’s a lock for the C’s now.
LOL that guy got the spelling of his tattoo wrong!

It’s too late. She bought the tickets. I’m going win or lose. It’s either going to be one of the best experiences o my life or one of it’s biggest heartbreaks. My girl and I are sports freaks and can’t think of a better way to spend this type of money together so it’s a done deal.

Whats every ones reaction to today’s game?

Celtics couldn’t buy a bucket. Lakers OKAY on offense, Celts not aggressive.

Has anyone thought about the bonuses these guys on both teams maybe get for playing in the playoffs? I’ve always wondered if this was true. If it is I can understand both teams ‘giving’ away games.

The bonuses are not significant enough to “give away” games. Yes, there are playoff bonuses but that would not affect players throwing games whatsoever. I think I Perkins doesn’t play that makes the Lakers even longer even wihout Bynum. I believe the Lakers come out with the same energy in game 7 and Kobe has another Jordan performance and easily wins finals MVP again.

^ LOL good to see your confidence back as ever! you are one hellofa flip flopper!

Win or Lose Randman get your girl out of their as quickly as possible. No bullshit, don’t get caught in the rioting that usually ensues because you were lagging after the game was over to get back to your car. Enjoy the game, but be safe man.

Oh man i was hoping Mbenga was gonna hit that jumper! The Staples Center was going to erupt!

lol, I was hoping he would too! I love watching him play, I don’t know why. lol As soon as he came out I started clapping, my sister turned to me and said, “seriously what is your love affair with that guy about?” haha. Mbenga is the man

I already told you the Lakers win when Gasol is the hoss. Kobe can’t takeover games in a good D. Hes a ‘spurt’ guy now. Look at every game this series, he dominated for periods but not consistently. Thats what a good defense does. Bottomline, if the Celtics win the first half game 7 they will be hard to beat.

I like Kobe so if he proves me wrong and hits the game winner he deserves every accolade.

What im worried as a guy who doesnt think the lakers deserve to win the championship is that Garnett will let Gasol establish a rhythm.

Its also going to depend on how and when kobe wants to takeover. Kobe actually hurts the lakers when he forces bimself to dominate. If hes off but trying to take over the game Doc Rovers will be very happy.

Other stuff on the top off my head related to game 7 would be someone from either team having an inspirational game. Could be Odom, could be Nate R. Thats a big X factor right there.

hahahah Its like back in the day when they had Madsen. The place would go ape shit when Mad Dog would make a play!

.greg.

Madsen was cool people, I liked him a lot…

So basically what it came down to:

The Lakers play better at home, the bench has been resting this series by not even trying, they’re back home and have their confidence back. Pau Gasol, does what he always does and impacts the game and got over his 2 game slump. Bynum wasn’t a big factor as expected and Kobe had a GREAT performance, but didn’t need to do anything too spectacular as everyone was contributing. Ron Artest will be the biggest mystery to me. I really don’t understand that guy lol.

Lakers take game 7 EASILY, my prediction.

I think kobe dominates in spurts is because he’s been much more of a facilitator these days. He’s not taking over whole games cause he’s trusting his teammates and passing a lot more to get guys open looks… But I agree for the most part with your post.

Remember, I’m a Boston Red Sox fan. The fatalistic view that your team is going to lose is a protection mechanism against utter despair.

Thanks man! We’ll be safe!

Serious talk Rand, win or lose will you cry?

yeah finally the entire laker team showed up. The bench played awesome for once and Bostons bench wasnt a factor (they’re the reason the C’s won the previous two games. No doubt about that)

Artest showed up on offense. If he can play like he did tonight and hit half of those wide open 3’s he keeps getting we’ll be A OK

.greg.

Defense wins championships. Who plays better D’s, gets on the boards and has less turnover wins. Using that criteria lakers have a 2/3 chance of winning. However 2010 Celtics are the weirdest teams Ive ever seen.

…can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky like shooting stars…
