hate to sound like a prick but… SEC speed… i gotta take auburn by 5
^
you dont sound like a prick, the SEC has been the dominating force in college football. If Auburn had a more dominating defense than I would take Auburn.
Honestly after they take a month off I could see Auburn taking it only because Oregon will be a little slower from the break.
TCU gets fucked over also with the Boise loss.

I wish Stanford would jump ahead of TCU. I think the fact that their undefeated is to highly valued, they simply haven’t played very many tough teams.
^ story of college fb WC, although I completely agree with you.
I was watching the BCS shows and some of these so called experts rated TCU with Boise State and more or less put the two together and didn’t really look at them as separate teams. Now they admit they should have looked more closely at TCU being a separate from Boise State.
Interesting note, it seems that even if Auburn were to lose against South Carolina, Auburn may only drop to #2 in the BCS ratings and still will probably play for the National Title.

You know Brady I had been seeing that all year in regards to TCU and Boise, I kept asking myself why these two teams are always spoken about together in analysis. The “so called experts” are trying to push both of these schools so hard they failed to actually analyze. I have not watched enough of TCU to comment on them, I hope they get a SEC team in a bowl game. TCU vs Alabama would be a good game to watch.
it would be a demolition… bama is playing good ball

I have to agree with you here Greg, that is another reason I would love to see this game. You know that put up or shut up type of game.

exactly… I wish the BCS wouldnt have pulled that bitch move last year and had Boise play TCU. It would have been sweet to see them play two of the “big boys” of college football.
Boise State, TCU, Utah (and a few years ago Fresno State) were good small school teams that cant get teams to play them. I know that argument is used a lot but I think its very relevant. They can only play who is on their schedule and most big schools wont play them (why would they want to unless they are forced to?)
Thats why I like seeing these guys get a chance to play big schools in bowl games. To prove if they really are worth the hype
Here’s an interesting question. Say Auburn losses this weekend to South Carolina, who do you think should play in the BCS Championship Bowl?
I know people will say “why dont they join a real conference then?” but its not that easy. There is a shit ton more than just what football teams would be good together that goes into teams in a conference (a lot of it is academics) I wish Boise would have gotten an invite to the Pac10. That would have been awesome… Boise and Utah in the pac10 would have been sweet.
But now the Big East is getting TCU so they’ll be in a Auto Qualifying BCS conference. Good move on their part

I dont think that they should… but from what a lot of the “experts” are saying, there is a good chance that they could.

ummm… depends on how they lose. If they lose a really close game then they will play… If they lost by double digits then no. There I answered… kinda ![]()

could you imagine if Boise hadnt lost last week… then Oregon AND Auburn both lose this week… we could have had TCU vs Boise in the NC game! I think the world would have imploded lol
I was saying that before the Boise loss. My family is all Big 12 and UT that live here. I love to rile them up and say shit like that.
But really if Auburn is one loss and TCU and Oregon are undefeated how could they not play? I mean TCU is ranked #3 now arent they?
TCU officially in Big East starting in 2012, cool to see them in an AQ conference
