You think you’re going to get a Rose Bowl bid over Stanford and Wisc(who will both be ranked higher than you, and be the standard Rose Bowl qualifiers, after the new polls come out)?[/quote]

We’ll see. It’s my understanding that we will play Wisconsin. This year the non-BCS team is going to the Rose Bowl right? We beat Stanford in 2007 and 2008.

Sugar vs. Ohio St.

We will destroy them.

I for some reason thought you were a Boise fan, but I should’ve noticed you mentioned New Mexico and realized you are a TCU fan, and will be 3rd in the BCS and almost definitely get the Rose Bowl AQ bid.

Good mix of teams. The Capital One bowl, Alabama vs. Mich. St. is a much better game than the Orange bowl of VT vs Conn.

The ACC and Big East are jokes. They should kick one or both of them out and bring new conferences, like the WAC.

I’m a UL fan from Louisville, so I know a little about Bobby P. Basically, if you’re expected to win that one, the team will come out flat (UL vs Boise in the Liberty Bowl, UL vs Wake Forest in the Orange Bowl), and if you’re the underdog, they’ll come out gunning (UL vs VT Gator Bowl). Good luck, I like watching his Arkansas teams whoop up on the old guard. AND YOU’RE WELCOME ;). But my God, why are his special teams always so bad whereever he goes?

A common nonsense argument. The Big East is 3-1 in BCS games since conference realignment. Plus, TCU will be joining an AQ conference soon (hopefully the BE), so that will remove the Mountain West from contention. The WAC in no way deserves AQ status. Boise should go independent or join another conference…the WAC is nothing without Boise, despite a nice run by Nevada for 2 years.

Goddam Ronald fucking Johnson, drop the ball while you’re all alone. Really?

In BMFP’s defense, our special teams were horrible before he got here so what we have now is an improvement.

wow whatta week in college football…

after watching this weekend u gotta say that this is just auburn’s year… i don’t see another team stopping them from a nat’l title… u come back from a 21-7 deficit and beat the defending nat’l champs with a score of 28-27… just wow…

boise st. finally lost so im glad they won’t be in the picture (albeit it was off 2 bad kicks)…

Well looks like Auburn and Oregon. Anybody willing to pick a winner?

Vinnie have you watched any Oregon games?

caught a few highlights… it looks like it’ll be a basketball score cuz neither team can do anything on D lol…

Hahahaha thats what I told my dad last week when we were watching the game. I have watched both teams and it will probably be the highest combined score in BCS history no doubt.

Oregon is just fucking fast all around and the high tempo Offense they go into is just unreal.

I think Oregon will take it by at least 10 points. Their offense won’t be stopped, and their defense is the top ranked unit in the PAC-10 (it has simply been over shadowed by their offense).

The toughest part about the Oregon offense is that it just keeps coming at you. Stanford was able to contain it for a half, and they have a dominant defense. But eventually the defenders just couldn’t keep up, and the Ducks pulled away.

Auburn won’t be able to dig itself out of the early hole it always puts itself in against a team like this, I’ll take the Ducks by 10.

^ From what I have seen of both teams I would probably agree with you, however there is just something about Cam Newton this year. It is shaping up to be like the USC vs Texas game. Everyone on the planet was taking USC to kill Texas, better defense, offense, special teams etc. But Young just had that something extra that year, I get the same vibe from Cam.

Oregon’s average scoring drive is something like a minute and a half. That would be a highly entertaining and high scoring affair, but it could be weird to see a championship game like that with no defense.

Well for guys like us who like football will be weird, however for the bandwagon, metro sexual guys and non-football watching girls it will probably end up being the highest rated/watched BCS game of all time. You know that much scoring will have both of those types giggling and screaming in a high pitched voices.

hate to sound like a prick but… SEC speed… i gotta take auburn by 5
