^^Hey I remember when Arkansas came to The Coliseum and played SC… I was at that game. It was awesome!
^you wont find me denying it, we got our asses handed to us. Yall had a spectacular team that year.
^^At one point SC score three TD’s in less than 2:30 seconds and the route was on. It was an awesome game (for a USC fan)
I’m really looking forward to see how this season ends up. Things I am very interested in seeing:
How the Trojans play this season with the bowl ban.
What happens with Boise State this season.
Boise State vs Va Tech.
Miami vs Ohio State
Figuring out how bad Notre Dame is going to be?
How Texas, Oklahoma and Florida play with their stud QB’s all leaving for the NFL last year.
How bad Ohio State is going to lose in their bowl game
Those are just a few of the things I’m really excited about. Obviously there is a lot more but those are some of the highlights that I’m looking forward to

I was there when USC came to ARK, same outcome sadly! Hopefully this will be our year.

Sorry Greg but this is all you can bring up cause the next few years it will be crickets from Cali.
^^i honestly don’t think so. Yeah I think SC will be a little down after having 7 straight conference championships (that’s pretty much unheard of now days) but I don’t think it’ll that bad. I could be wrong but based on how few guys transferred after the sanctions it goes to show that people still wanna play at SC cause it gives them great exposure and a gold shot at making it to the NFL which is the ultimate goal. I still think there is a good chance that the bowl ban could be reduced to one year but we’ll see.
I’m excited to see how the team plays these next couple seasons. Should be fun.
^ Just busting your balls, USC is a college power house. I dont think they will lift the ban though. Do the time and come out strong is all you can hope for. Didnt want to start at UT vs USC thread. ![]()

Ah yes; you were still sore about that 2004 Orange Bowl loss, eh?
I would like to throw Nebraska into the mix as a dark horse candidate to crash the BCS. If they can stay injury free (no whammies, no whammies, no whammies!), it could be a very good season. The true test is Texas on October 16th, then maybe a Big XII Championship game against OU.
GO BIG RED!!!

GO OTHER BIG RED!!!
AND GO OTHER OTHER BIG REDS! (I like Bama and Cornell, too)
Yeah, everything I’ve read says part of OU’s potential charm this year is that we don’t have to play Nebraska.

I can’t wait for the NU vs. TX game, I think NU is going to be putting a severe beating on Texas and their inexperience quarterback.

Sorry but Bama is going to have at least 2 losses this year. No repeat for the title. Also, Sabian is a DB.

Yeah I’ve got a feeling that they’re going to drop at least one game this year… Maybe two? Its just tough cause every year conferences have a team or two who comes out of no where and does well. I dont see Bama winning it all again this year but I definitely could be wrong. As long as stupid ass Ohio State doesnt play for the BCS championship I’ll be happy… or if they do play and get absolutely pounded on like usually happens to them in BCS games I’ll be happy.

I’m an Oklahoma fan, just making fun of the multiple Big Reds in the college game. Welcome to the joke. And it’s spelled Saban.
Wow seems this has turned into the everyone is waiting to beat Texas thread. This will make for an exciting year.

Yeah I hear that. I think it sucks for the kids who are there now. Some of them werent even in highschool yet when this whole thing went down and now they’re getting penalized for it. I dont think there is anyway to avoid that but its just crappy situation.
I think this whole agents/players getting benefits thing is/should be REALLY SCARY to every major school out there. Every school probably has some kids getting benefits. It wouldnt surprise me at all. You get a lot of low income kids and they get offered money or gifts… why not take it? They all think that they wont get caught. The only reason USC got caught was because Bush didnt sign with the people that allegedly gave his parents that house. Pretty wild stuff
With the NCAA now looking into a bunch of schools (Florida, UNC, Bama, Kansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, WV) I would be holding my breath as a fan of one of those teams. The NCAA isnt like a court. They dont have to actually prove anything to pass down sanctions… Its a pretty scary thing as a fan. I’d like to see what they find out about that Pouncy Kid allegedly gettin $100K before their BCS game last year.

Sabian… its french. duuuuuuuuh

I dont think Nebraska will beat Texas this year. Even with a new Q Texas will be stacked. The Big 12 is probably going to be a little down from the past two years (with losing a lot of star players to the NFL) but Texas is one of those schools who always has good players and doesnt slump very much at all (this coming from a Texas HATER… that Rose Bowl game was total bullshit. I hate Vince Young so much)
Nebraska has a terrible offense and they lost the most dominant defensive player in college football. How are they going to beat Texas? I dont see it at all
