Anybody have a problem with this? Not being an Sooner hater, but I just dont see them being #1. [/quote]
The computers are giving OU love for their strength of schedule. That’s why they are at number 1. They obviously aren’t then best team and could very well lose to Missouri this weekend.
I think a ranking of 4 or 5 would be more appropriate.
Aside from that, I don’t have much of a problem with the rankings as of now.
^ That was my point SSC, since I am a Texas fan was trying to see if everyone else thought the same way. Not to take everything away from OK, I just didnt see them over Oregon or Boise for that matter. Why no love for Auburn in the polls?

Yes he is. He’s Vince Young-esque in that he can take over a game and do whatever the fuck he wants. His offense made Arkansas’s defense, which isn’t bad at all, look retarded.

I really wished I gotten to see this game. All that scoring seem to made this game exciting to watch.

I saw the 4th quarter where it was close and then, all of a sudden, Auburn takes off and kills Arkansas.
I hope Auburn lights LSU up. There is no way Les Miles stumbles into this win…is there?
p.s. I just thought of a cool avi and a project for Iron Dwarf. Take my avi and instead of the Devil giving Robert Johnson a guitar, have it be the devil handing a Les Miles caricature an LSU hat. ![]()

Rutgers’ Eric LeGrand paralyzed
NEW YORK – Rutgers junior defensive tackle Eric LeGrand suffered a spinal-cord injury in the Scarlet Knights’ 23-20 overtime win over Army on Saturday and is paralyzed below the neck, the school announced Sunday.
Terrible news. I wish him and the family the best.
thoughts go out to his family…
Since my gators are pretty much not in contention for anything but urinal water… im rooting for auburn
That’s horrible Totenkopf, scary stuff. And people wonder why Gooddell is getting so strict on helmet-to-helmet contact.

Eh, I’m advocating a total shake-up. I want TCU and Boise State to be in the National Championship. ![]()
I definitely would not mind seeing Auburn make a run for it, though, although I don’t feel like they’re good enough as a whole.

Okay why is Auburn not good enough? Just asking cause this year I have watched very few SEC games. They have basically been on during the Big 12 games.
damn, my prayers go to his family. That is terrible.
i’ll admit auburn’s defense is shaky but their offense is on fire… i don’t see LSU beating them this weekend

Gut feeling, more than any kind of true, substantial data supporting my theory, hahaha.
Naw, I’ve watched probably 4-5 of their games and I definitely won’t say I’m not impressed, because I am, but I look at the “what could be.” If a team can shut down Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, McElroy AND Julio Jones, it’s tough for me to believe that a team can’t shut down one quarterback. Same thing kinda goes with Denard Robinson (hey, what can I say, I DO live in Big 10 country, lol.)
Anyway, a narrow win over an underrated Kentucky and three more tough games including LSU (who is EXTREMELY overrated, to be fair,) as well as Georgia (who apparently is starting to 'figure it out,) and lastly one against Alabama IN Tuscaloosa - I just don’t see the championship happening.

I got you, I have a feeling this year all the big power houses will end up with one loss. BUT Boise and TCU will not. Going to be interesting to see what they do, I would not gamble on that outcome.
LSU has pretty much lucked into their standing, UGA is gonna keep struggling against better programs (see arkansas), and bama has shown that it can be beat…
My only concern is can auburn defense hold teams to under 20 pts… if they can i think they can run the table…
SEC Championship: USC vs Auburn

I think Auburn should be No.1 or 2. They have played the kind of teams that should up that rank. I agree Kentucky is over rated. I had high hope for the Cocks until they lost to Kentucky. That Spurrier is an insufferable idiot who lucked his way in to national championships.

This breaks my heart…When you play, you have to keep your head up, coaches do not drive this point home enough. This was simply a costly error on the Eric’s part.
This is the one thing that scares the ever-living shit out of me with Football, because my son plays and sometimes I see those kids with their heads down playing…
GO HOGS GO
Texas loses to Iowa State? wow.
I think this makes our loss to Texas hurt even more.
I am hoping my Huskers can beat OSU.
