^ So I am not crazy then you see it now in your Avi?
That is what is so fun about college football, I would really rather see a playoff system, But how it plays out every year is always interesting.
At this point from watching teams play, I think I would like to see the matchup of Nebraska and Oregon. Styles make fights and these are really two different style teams.

Regardless how it all plays out, I think for all the BCS bowl games, the matchups will provide some really good games.
Long way to go thru the season, there are still some upsets out there and I am sure there will be some shakeups in the BCS standings.

Ah, officiating. It pisses me off to no end. Things I hate . . .
When a player from Team A lays a hit on a player from Team B just barely out of bounds. If it happens on Team B’s sideline, there is always that long pause after the hit, during which players and coaches from Team B jump up and down and go “Ohhhhhhh!” Then it happens: That dreadfully late flag for a late hit.
When a player lays a vicious (but legal) hit on his opponent. The crowd always goes, “Ooooooh!” prompting the ref to throw a flag on the play on the assumption that it must have been an illegal hit (even though video evidence shows it was clean).
Calling pass interference ridiculously tight against one team, but then letting the other team get away with an almost comical level of interference without throwing a flag.
Basically any conduct penalties for (a) excessive celebration, (b) taunting, (c) etc. I think the NCAA and conferences have forgotten that college sports are primarily for entertainment purposes. Fans like it when a player leaps into the end zone unnecessarily. We like it when a guy high steps into the end zone. We like end zone celebrations. We like it when a dude sacks the quarterback and then stands up and flexes. We like it when our receiver makes a tough catch across the middle, gets hit, then stands up and does the “first down” gesture. If you don’t like it, maybe your team tries to stop the other from having a reason to celebrate next time.
Unless a team sacrifices a goat in the end zone after scoring a TD, or head butts an opponent after making a big play, there should be no such thing as excessive celebration or taunting, respectively. And referees should be expressly precluded from throwing a flag for excessive celebration during (a) major rivalry games (e.g., Red River Rivalry, OSU-Michigan, USC-UCLA), (b) a conference championship, or (c) a bowl game. There is no such thing as “excessive” celebration in those contexts.
Can you tell I hate officials?
This is the main reason as to why run plays like the dive and slice were created… so you can drill the ref (legally) since he is in the way of the guy you were meant to block.

I see where you are coming from, but when I read this part of your post, I was reminded of the gangster scum from Da U having dance offs in the endzone for like 5 minutes after a touchdown. Not a game winning touchdown, mind you, but a touchdown in the second quarter when they are up 28 to 7, or something.
You know those Miami teams of the 1980s and early 90s that had literally no respect for the game or their opponent?
They had zero class.
I’ll disagree only in that I think there is a fine line between celebration (I have no problem with a player doing front flip into the endzone) and being classless punks.
Texas doing their part to clear up some future BCS confusion, Arkansas trying to do theirs in a shootout with Auburn, 11 minutes left and that could still be anyone’s game.
Wow, thank the football GODS cause Nebraska dropped a lot of potential touchdowns. Nebraska played like Texas has been playing for the past 3 games. Only thing I hate is now has is the BCS going to shake out tomorrow?
Apparently I jinxed Arkansas, after my post they had a fumble returned for a TD, and now on the following drive an INT returned down to the 7, probably about to be down 15.
Cam Newton is probably the Heisman favorite now too.
This Auburn / Arkansas game is nuts. I think Newton will be the new front runner for the Heisman this week, since Robinson got hurt and Luck has a bye.
My Buckeyes continue to be the worst special teams team I have ever seen this season, not a good start to what should be a very tough road game =xxxxxx
Texas Fight… Even with those dropped passes… I don’t think the game would have come out any differently. You can’t just magically assume thats 21 points and it would have played out exactly the same way if one or two of those passes were caught. I still think Texas would have taken this one. They came in to play… and on def played perfectly and offense was much improved but still pretty bad.

“Everybody don’t like something, but don’t NOBODY like Ohio State.”
And BTW, cheer up. My team is 4-3 and has a total turd sandwich for a kicker!
A 1-loss team very well may win the National Championship this year… depending on how the Boise State and TCU situation shakes down.
Ya we might have lost our shot at the Rose Bowl too though since Michigan State isn’t on the schedule, need someone to beat them + Wisconsin now(I think Iowa might handle both of those as they get both of them @Kinnick Stadium)

Anybody have a problem with this? Not being an Sooner hater, but I just dont see them being #1.
I think its not a bad list. I’d like to Auburn at #2 though. The SEC is the toughest conference. Should be a great game Sat. aft against LSU. Cam Newton is the shit.

LOL… wut. OK should not be #1. It should be Oregon, Boise, TCU… whoever else. I dislike that the two ‘smaller’ teams keep getting leapfrogged every week. Someone give them a little bit of 'aspect!
And BTW, I do fully believe Michigan State should be ranked higher than LSU, mostly by quality of wins and consistency. LSU is definitely, by far, the worst 7-0 team I’ve ever seen with a total joke for a coach who stumbles into winning football games. Now, I may be a little partial to MSU because it IS my regional team, but keep in mind I also have an SEC bias.
