BOULDER â?? University of Colorado senior Julien Lounis packed his bags and headed to Berkeley, Calif., on Friday to watch the Buffaloes’ football game against future Pac-10 rival Cal. But after watching CU get “hammered” 52-7, Lounis and his friends left in the third quarter.
“I was just so disappointed by our team, again, and I wanted to make a point to the athletic department about it,” Lounis said.
And a statement was definitely made when Lounis sent an e-mail to the athletic department requesting reimbursement for his ticket and travel expenses.
“That does not even deserve a response,” CU athletics spokesman David Plati wrote in an e-mail Tuesday.
Lounis’ e-mail included an invoice detailing his flight, hotel and ticket cost, which totaled $401.40.

That happened last year a few times too, I think it was after the Oregon/Boise State game where the coach said something and within the next few weeks a bunch of students tried to cash in on it.

The whole point of doing a trip like this is going to a game that could be great or watch your team upset a favorite. He has only himself to blame for taking this trip. I think even the diehard CU fans knew Cal was going to kick the shit out of CU.
Whats up with all the Florida Gators getting arrested? 30 arrests of Florida players under Urban Meyers watch. Anyone think anything will happen with the investigation into the alleged gifts Pouncey got last year?

I think it has a lot to do with how the coaching staff is with their players, it seems like the staff at Florida is not very strict at all and the players seem to have more of an open policy of what they do. Just my opinion.

As far as the gifts, I dont think so, anytime a player commits a crime, the NCAA doesn’t seem interested, only that they want the school or coach or punish the player.
The NCAA is a pile of shit and we all know it. But honestly I’m just ready for more on the field action, especially tomorrow night, we’ll see how my Clemson Tigers do, should be a great game against Auburn but can someone anyone please step up at receiver?

I normally never cheer for auburn, but I got to tomorrow. Their new running back M. Dyer #5 graduated high school with my little brother, same high school I went to. He is a good kid, and I hope the best for him.

But they’re officially investigating SCU now…GO NCAA!

It does seem as though the inmates run the asylum in Gainesville, which is fine as long as you have great leaders like a Tebow or Brandon Spikes. When you don’t have that type of leadership you start to see stuff like this happening.

this is true, just more fuel to add to the fire haha, it never ends for em and it won’t ever.
Well Florida didnt look sharp again today. Brantley had several passes that were off. And our d gave up 2 HUGE plays. For the most part we played pretty solid. O line still needs some more work. take away the two mis reads by our defense and we win by 28, unfortunately we had to settle for a 14 point win.
Gotta give a hell yea to my boys, stompin Auburn right now. Still 30 minutes to go and we need twice as much effort for this next half but so far so good, Harper stretchin out for that catch was a freakin mazing

Just got back from the Stanford game and Luck went nuts again. Should be a great test to see how they play against Notre Dame, Oregon, and USC who are all upcoming.

Wow…hell of an ending[/quote]
Aubarn stole our mascot, stole our fight song, stole our “ALL IN” slogan from 2008, and they stole that game.
