According to ESPN they have two games against top 25 teams, with that schedule how could they not possibly go undefeated? You don’t have to like USC to like that easy a schedule.

Games against top 25 teams:
Texas has two
Oklahoma has two
Boise State has two
TCU has one
Nebraska has one
Iowa has three

Those are all top 10 teams and only one of them plays more Top 25’s than USC does

Texas and Oklahoma only have two games against top 25 teams… Nebraska only has 1… Do all of those teams also have easy schedules?
Texas and Oklahoma have two games against Top ten teams. I widened it out to 25 so USC would have a second team. Don’t get your knickers in a twist, theres nothing wrong with knowing USC has easy schedule this year.

^^I edited my post… I don’t have my “knickers in a twist” about anything. If you have read my posts earlier in this thread about USC you would know I was saying the undefeated season in jest and that I dont believe they will go undefeated… But maybe you didnt read those previous posts.

PSU at 19? Hey AP voters, want me to turn this up for ya?
???

They have a completely unproven AND young quarterback at the helm… facing off against teams like Ohio State, Wisconsin, (possibly) Iowa and a slew of talented defenses.

19 is just about right.
Or lower, sorry but the Big 10 has not impressed in bowl games in my opinion. Flame away but I am more impressed with the ACC.
All three of those teams are good but not great teams. The ACC has the worst division of any conference, the Coastal, and if Miami isn’t very good the ACC isn’t going to have a team to hang its hat on. VT will only be decent this year.
Hey now, don’t count out my Clemson Tigers just yet

Hopefully Dabo starts putting things together this year. If we can beat Auburn early in the season and take care of Miamai, BC, and GT then I see it being a pretty solid season. The Battle of the Palmetto State is in Clemson this year and I don’t see a repeat of last year’s fiasco happening. The hatred runs deep for us Clemson folk.

ESPN has been sucking USC nuts for years. ESPN is still butt hurt that they lost to Texas in 05.

I think they could go undefeated because I think they have way mroe talent than the other team in the PAC-10 and thier non-conferce games should be wins.

Every year I think Clemson is going to make a run and then they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

CJ Spiller was sick, but Clemson (And VT, and most ACC teams for that matter,) have perenially been the most overrated teams in the nation year in and year out.

You’re an SEC fanboy, you’re contractually required to say that. I would disagree and say the most overrated teams in the nation would be the bottom of the pile SEC teams like South Carolina and Kentucky. They get a pass in the media because they play in the SEC but they wouldn’t be winning teams in the ACC either. South Carolina got slaughtered by UConn for God’s sake.

Eh. Has South Carolina even been ranked higher than like #20 in the last 3-4 years? I’m talking about that few year stretch when Clemson was ranked fairly well every year… #7 or something similar coming in to the season. '06 maybe? Either way, you guys had better hope Dabo is the answer because you’re stuck with him for another 6 years - theoretically, haha.

I LOVE this position my Trojans are in, with their backs against the wall. There is only 1 thing you can do when you get cornered, you fail or you come out swinging. I want to see my guys fucking run over EVERYONE they come across. I mean, I want to see Student Body Right at least 20 times IN THE FIRST QUARTER.

You know what the best thing about being the smallest offensive lineman in the Pac-10 was? There is nothing you could tell me to deter me. It is what I call Doug Flutie Syndrome. He was told (from day 1) that he was too small, too short, whatever, and would not amount to shit. What did he do? Went to Canada and destroyed the league, then went to the NFL and gave teams more than enough headaches. You cannot kill that guy, the same way you cannot kill me.

Fuck Reggie Bush, and the sanctions, the bottom line is this…

We are going to line up and do our thing. You still have to stop us, and with Lane Kiffen getting EVERY single position coach Pete Carroll has in 2005, he doesn’t need to do much coaching really. I want to see Lane Kiffen shut his mouth, that is his weakness. If they need a fire lit under their asses, I am down the 110 freeway and can make it happen.

I want to see a statement made tonight, I want to see this Trojan team walking with a bit of a swagger. Bust these fuckers right in the mouth, crack heads, whoop ass, and take names.

I like Boise State. I hope they smash Va Tech this year. They’re a good story in college football and they have a solid program.
Who is their biggest rival?
The BCS.

Moore has a legit shot at the Heisman this year, if they can get past VT on day one. I will be rooting for them. I remember watching their Fiesta Bowl victory live, and to this day it is still one of the best sporting events I have ever seen.
Except for the Texas vs USC BCS game I agree.
The best college football game I ever saw was Ohio State and Miami in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl.
Saw it live as a combined birthday+christmas present with my older brother + dad. Too bad about Maurice Clarett though, I remember thinking he was going to be the stud of all studs after that season, then he tried to fight the NFL and lost, and became a criminal. What a waste of talent(and it’s doubly sad that be brought down that USC receiver with him when he won the initial court ruling).

UNC is going to be down 16 players for that LSU game btw(they are pretty much forced to suspend all of them, because if they let them play and then the NCAA suspends them later after investigation they’ll forfeit the win regardless). Not sure how they’re going to pull it out with a solid chunk of their starting defense not even in attendance.

Hey Max nice to see you back on here, you been laying low for a while. I was hoping you would get in on this thread. Love this rant, I was the same as you as a lineman. Enjoy the year. With Kiffen’s dad running the Defense they should be back to where you want them.

ESPN had better get their shit sorted. I just spent â?¬99.99 so I could watch football on their player. I tune in to see Wake Forest vs Presbyterian and get an error message. CUNTS!

Eh, it’s the Rainbow Warriors. I"m sure we’ll see all sorts of carnage.
