I have a sense Boise State will pull it out of the bag. They have a trick or two up their sleeves you know :-).

My brother in law calls me after OU takes the lead, celebrating thinking OU is going to win.

I wanted to drive 3 hours to his house and punch him in the face. I knew that 1:02 might as well be 5:02. Way to much time for BSU to make something happen. It was just one of those games you know will be in doubt until the clock strikes zero.

I was extremely proud of my Sooners showing some heart and making that comeback. They looked so bad in the first half, I remember thinking that they need to at least make BSU earn the win, and they did.

4th and 18… :18 seconds left… Hook and ladder! Unbelievable!!!

I like Boise State. I hope they smash Va Tech this year. They’re a good story in college football and they have a solid program.
Who is their biggest rival?
The BCS.

Moore has a legit shot at the Heisman this year, if they can get past VT on day one. I will be rooting for them. I remember watching their Fiesta Bowl victory live, and to this day it is still one of the best sporting events I have ever seen.

Except for the Texas vs USC BCS game I agree.

My gut instinct is Carolina because of that defense… but I have to hope that the SEC can beat the ACC.
The defense is really good but the offense is as bad as the defense is good.

The West Virginia and TCU Nike Pro Combat Jerseys are by far the best. The kids from the schools selected for Nike Pro Combat must be nutting themselves, has to be pretty cool to get hooked up that hard by Nike.

17 North Carolina players, including 7 defensive starters, will be suspended for the LSU game. I think LSU will take this one, NC simply has to much going on in the background to be able to focus.

Become a USC fan redstar! Good tradition, hard hitting on defense and the hottest cheerleaders in college football!!

I’ll probably take them as a team to have an interest in. They are the team I have heard the most about and I like controversial teams.
Prepared to be disappointed.

I gotta disagree and go with Oregon on the pro combat. I think those are sick jerseys. UVA is supposed to be getting those about half way through this season, and we got orange jerseys, have not seen them yet but I hope they look decent.

Oregon isn’t a part of this years new Pro Combat line. Oregon State is, but Oregon is not.

Reading your play by play here gave me goosebumps and ruined my freshly-shaved legs.

That game…

Oh alright, I was wondering why I couldn’t find them. I like WVU’s a lot too.

The best college football game I ever saw was Ohio State and Miami in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl.

Wow, those Virginia Tech Pro Combats are SICK in my opinion.

Sorry to keep filling the thread with newbish questions. What decides which Bowl game you play in? Boise won the Fiesta Bowl in '07 but in SI’s predictions people have them playing in the Rose Bowl this year. I find the whole Bowl thing somewhat confusing.

Ouch! I didn’t realize that many players had been suspended.

I agree. Too many off the field distractions for NC. LSU will be kicking themselves in the balls if they don’t win this game.

USC roll call…where my Trojans at ?

You guys, you guys…

COLLEGE FOOTBALL STARTS TONIGHT!!!

(ps, Pittsburgh over Utah. That young RB from Pitt is sick.)
