pierce is annoying as fuck too.

I’ve always hated Pierce and Antoine Walker when they played together a few years back. I can’t remember a duo who accomplished so little (at the time) talk so much shit.

Antoine Walker always seemed overrated to me as well.

Wow, fell to the 2nd page during playoff time?

Are CHI fans worried yet??

Cause two games in and the analogy to those James-led CLE squads (ie. having only ONE guy who can create a shot/shots for others) still seems appropriate…

Not a CHI fan but, would you worry about your team when they’re up 2-0?

Personally I would wait until they lost a game.

I would be a little worried if i was a CHI fan. They are barely up 2-0 and played two home games already. (i know 2-0 is still 2-0 but they barely pulled out both of those games on their home court)

if they come out and lose their next game or two (which could very likely happen) then they’re in big trouble. Indys confidence has got to be growing. they’ve only gotta steal one game on the road and they’ve almost done it twice.

I dont think anyone thought that the number 1 seed (likely with the NBA MVP leading the way) would be struggling with a sub .500 team in the first round.

If I needed A+ efforts from my superstar in order to squeak out two home wins, and I knew that other teams were carefully watching everything that happens and some of those other teams actually have more than one superstar…

I feel like the home team always plays a little tight during the first game of the series.

There is a lot more pressure on them but usually things play out like they should over the course of the series.

I think that is what happen to LA, Chi, Boston,SA and even miami (obviously chi and boston didnt lose but close games)

Chicago will be fine atleast for the first round

I didn’t catch game 2 but I’m a little worried. They’re facing the 8th ranked team.

What will happen when they face Atlanta/Orlando, and then Boston/Miami?

At the end of the day though, Chicago’s defense is WAY better than Cleveland’s was last year. And Chicago is a much more well rounded team than Cleveland last year. Way better options for scoring, even if they haven’t showed up the way one would hope so far.

Personally I’d be worried if I were a fan of the defending champs and my team is down 0-1 even with a stellar performance from my best player. :stuck_out_tongue:

The most worrying thing for Chicago actually has to be(imo) that they outrebounded Indiana 57-33, totally dominated the boards, and only turn that into a 6 point win. This wasn’t one of those cases where rebounding numbers were skewed by 1 team shooting lights out either(which happens). The bulls shot sub 40%, and cleaned up their misses almost better than Indiana did(20 OREB to 24 DREB… that is INSANE), so there were rebounds to be had all over and it felt like they got all of them, and squeeked out by 8 points in the paint and 6 overall, with Rose dropping 36 and hitting from 3.

I hope for their sake this is just a massive example of everyone other than Rose playing to their competition(not to completely discredit Indiana playing well), because they should be winning these games solidly, not floundering for 46 minutes and closing well(that part is a good sign though).

hahahaha I would be a little worried too… Buuuuuut

  1. We swept them in our season series. Its hard to beat a team 5 games in a row much less 8… a loss or two was inevitable.

  2. NO shot 59% in the first half and 52% for the game from the field… They cant do that for an entire series. Their season average is 45%

  3. Pau Gasol was 2 points shy of his lowest point total EVER. he wont continue to play bad.

  4. The turnovers were 13-3 in favor of NO (NO was 10 turnovers below their season average)… The lakers wont commit 10 more turnovers than the hornets every game.

I think that the Lakers wont play that run n gun game with NO next time cause that plays right into the Hornets strengths. but if they lose this next one… All aboard the worry train. lol

so far the Knicks are hanging with the Celtics even without Billups… Anthony is doing work so far in the first half. He could have a double double before half time.

^^^ now they have lost Amare. Can they really continue to keep up with the Celts?

Man no matter what happens, Melo is a beast and could do whatever he wants no one could check him even the vaunted celts d, hes truly carrying them and keeping em in the game. What a fucking talent, I want to kick Big baby in his fat tummy, jerkoff. Gotta acknowledge Jared Jeffries and Billy Walker playing tough as nails…I love the heart this team is showing, someone get me a hanky

what happened to STAT?

Backs all effed up

Backs all effed up

If I didn’t know better(and they weren’t playing in Boston to make it obvious) I’d think NY were the superior/favored team, and are just struggling to cope with injuries; instead of the alternative playing out that is Boston struggling hard to win games against a team missing 2 of it’s top 3 players, 1 of whom happened to destroy them in game 1(and has historically given KG nightmares). Allen is 4-4 from 3, Rondo is abusing the lack of Chauncey on defense, and Pierce is shooting well, and the game is close? Sounds absurd.

So he’s left the game, out for season or just minor??
