Dude, I’m really impressed by Ronnie Turiaf’s play so far.

I have them winning the series.

Yeah, I wish I could watch the game but I got basic cable here and my buddy is on his laptop, otherwise i’d go on atdhe.me or another site and hook it up to the tv. I don’t think the Knicks have enough depth though to take the series.

Only 1 series left, and if these game 1s are any indication this is going to be a fucking crazy amazing year for the NBA playoffs. Only not close game was ORL/ATL and I fully expect the other 9 people on Orlando’s roster to show up the rest of the series and make that very competitive.

Wow Ray Allen comes up with the ice cold dagger, and Melo goes 0 for important shots at the end of the game(he’s usually sooooo clutch).

Edit: I didn’t realize Melo shot so awful for the whole game, it really felt like he had done better. Maybe let Amare get that last touch in that particular game, shrug.

Ray Allen hit it! RAY ALLEN HIT THE 3!!!

What are you talking about. If the last NY play was set up from an inbounds pass on the Cs side I’d put my money on 'Melo to hit that shot to tie or win the game.

Ray Allen’s mom must be going crazy!

FUCK! PUT IT ON THE FLOOR MELO…LAZY SHOT YOU FUCK…SMD JESUS SHUTTLESWORTH.

If you actually put some comprehension into your reading process and don’t just move to criticize every statement immediately(randman type syndrome there), you may notice that I actually agree that Melo is usually as clutch as they come, but went 0’fer in this game on shots at the end of the game(0/3 in the final minute of play?).

I thought you were being sarcastic when you said he was “sooo clutch.” > _ <

This last game could be a 90-point blowout and this would still be the best opening game series I can remember.

watch it getnitdone, you may get ignored again lol

I can see how you might read into that, I was actually trying to put emphasis on the respect I have for him as a late game shot maker.

Anyhow, Knicks loss aside, looks like that series should live up to every bit of the hype, and that means the winner is the fans!(cliches ftw)

Thought he was gonna pump fake and draw the foul with that much time left. When’s game 2? This is the first time I can remember EVERY series being interesting. This is looking like an awesome playoffs.

Btw, on the Lakers-Hornets game – I was really happy to see Jarrett Jack playing so good. I remember watching him play for Georgia Tech and I remember thinking, man wouldn’t it be something if I guy like this made it to the NBA. He’s playing along side Chris Paul who I think he played against in college. To my recollection there was this one game where Jack won it against CP3 and Wake.

As this OKC/DEN game finishes up I felt like pointing out another amazing thing about these series openers… seemingly every superstar has come out blazing. The respective big 3s didn’t have a crazy individual performance among them but as trios carried their teams; and some of the ‘not quite’ superstars spurred the (near)upsets, like Randolph and Aldridge, the other Gasol.

This is like my 3rd or 4th post already about this but damn I hope these 1st games aren’t just flukes, cause these playoffs look to be incredibly entertaining for all the right reasons. It’s so much better to see games being competitive because people are playing very well(few exceptions) and not the other way around.

Man Im still heated about yesterdays Knicks - Celtics game. Not for nothing if your gonna call an offensive foul on Anthony in the waning moments, how about you call a foul on that dirty dick KG tripping Toney Douglass on the Ray Allen shot. We played good defense, a halfcourt playoff style game, withstood for the most part a Celtic comeback which you knew was going to happen and still lost. Celt fans should be happy they won the game but certainly not satisfied, if Billups doesent play, the series is over. Douglass is a good player but he cannot handle PG duties.

.

^^ I hate KG. He’s such a fake ass, wanna be tough guy punk.
