Absolutely I agree. If memory serves me correctly I can almost guarantee DFish, Kobe and Shaq weren’t holding championship parades pre-season touting how they were going to win 7+ championships and then CRYING after a REGULAR season game.

This crying…after winning 3 straight championships…in the playoffs…on national tv…completely ok.

Crying after a regular season game…after you had a pre-8-championship celebration before the season even started…completely NOT ok.

Nice try…
First of all you have no idea if someone was crying and who it was. You are just assuming it was Lebron, Bosh and Wade.

Secondly you take shit too literally, he was obviously just hyping up the crowd, I love how you ignore the comments he’s made through the season about how it will be tough to get by teams who have been together for years but focus on something completely minute.

Oh I see what you’re doing little man. Because you’re looking pretty stupid about touting Miami’s chances coming out of the east right about now you’re going to shift the focus to the Lakers. Nice try…Ain’t gonna work.
Says the guy who called this Lakers team the best Lakers team in the last 15 years.

Seriously Who are you to talk randlady? I’m just proving the Lakers have their share of cry babies.

If the Heat meet Boston, they will be neck and neck the whole series. That was basically my prediction. Don’t go twisting it, fact is when Lebron signed I picked them to win a championship in year 2.
You really reaching for straws now little man. I already admitted I was high on enthusiasm about the Lakers improved team. At least now they’re starting to play like it. So you can keep bringing this up but I’m not arguing with you so that’s defused.

Cry babies? Not even close. Again, crying after winning 3 straight championships and losing in the playoffs while going for a fourth. Completely cool. Hell I was crying right along with them. It was the end of an era and everyone knew it.

Acting like arrogant pricks since the pre-season and then CRYING after a regular season game. Ha ha ha. Karmic retribution. They haven’t won ONE championship and are crying after losing 4 straight in the regular season. Poor LeCryBaby.

You’re perceptions are so far off on the Heat’s supposed prowess you’re even assuming they get to the Celtics. I don’t think they get out of the second round. Never mind being “neck and neck” with the Celtics.

Please stop. You’re looking stupider by trying to hang on to the supposed danger of this Heat team in the playoffs. Lick your wounds, swallow your pride, and just admit your prognostication of the Heat was WAAAAY off. Ha ha ha ha!!!
randman wrote:

POST EDIT: and this comes after a 32 point drubbing on the Spurs home-court. ha ha ha…
Dude if you aren’t worried about the Spurs, you are delusional.

I’m not even going to bother. Please show me a video of Lebron crying. Otherwise shut the fuck up randlady. Last I checked the playoffs haven’t happened, yet you’re acting like the Heat are already eliminated.

You’re just praying it wasn’t Lebron fan boy. It totally was. During his apology to his team-mates for failing them again with a tear-stained face. You know it dude. You know it.

You’re quite the defender of Lebron as of late, eh? You’re actually trying to defend the laughable Big Three of the Heatles holding a championship parade/rock concert three weeks before the regular season strutting around like peacocks when the rest of the media and fanbase eviscerated them for it. You’re becoming a joke trying to defend this drama queen momma’s boy.

Of course he’s going to say it’s going to be tough to get through teams that have been together for years. He doesn’t want to look like a total douchebag. But it slips out oh so often of his real douchebaggery know matter how hard he tries. Ha!

Dude before you admitted you were fucking high before saying that, you were a real dick even interjecting yourself into the MLP playoffs thread just to rip on my credibility. Why in the hell would I let it go so easily? You’re not off the hook until the end of the playoffs

You can bring it up as much as you want. I still think this is one of the better Laker’s teams. Just not the best in the last 15 years. Not after I looked up the 2001 Laker season stats. I forgot about how dominant they were.

You’re credibility on NBA knowledge and prognostication is soooo easy to rip I can’t resist.

Rrrright

You overestimate how much I care about the outcome of teams not named the Raptors.

Talking about basketball and arguing over sports is fun to me. Even if the Heat get swept in the first round, I’m not going to change my handle if I’m wrong.

Last time I checked there are sports writers who have been over 10 years in the biz dumb enough to predict a 72 win season for the Heat.

I’m not saying your’e wrong about the 2001 Lakers being the best, I’m saying all your opinions are formed from reading Bill Simmons because you lack the ability to analyze what you see on the court.

Seriously randman, you make yourself look incredibly stupid putting personal insults in EVERY SINGLE POST. We get it, you don’t like anyone who argues with you. Get over it.
therajraj wrote:
Pretty weak raj. And you know it. You know, along with everyone else on this thread, that I’ve been an NBA fan for nearly 40 years. I’m extremely well read across multiple NBA analyst sources, books, articles, etc. I have pretty developed critical thinking skills I’ve used in multiple disciplines in my life and I apply it to a sport I love: the NBA.

And there’s a lot of things I disagree with Bill Simmons on. That being said, his book is THE most comprehensive book on the subject I’ve ever read.

So again, nice try. But not even close to the truth.

And regarding the anti-Lebron rhetoric. Yes I dislike him for many of the same reasons many others dislike him. But I’m not creating these articles and spoofs. I will, however, post them here when I come across them.

The real, question, is then…Why are there so many spoofs and articles on Lebron? Could it be that he has brought a lot of this scrutiny on himself? I think the answer to that question is yes.

Kobe had to learn. Earlier in his career he got raked over the coals based on multiple perceptions he had a hand in creating. He’s obviously learned. You don’t see much on Kobe these days because he doesn’t feed the media beast.

Lebron should get no different treatment than any other athlete that makes dubious decisions, has over-the-top antics, says ridiculous things, and is overall still very immature.

He has heaped this upon himself. And you defending him makes you look ridiculous. He’s set himself up for this. He’ll either a) learn from his mistakes and stop making them or b) continue to stay oblivious to why he keeps receiving so much criticism.
