Just read another blurb about Eric Mangini and how he runs a team. I’m starting to wonder if he will even finish the season as coach. It started out bad with his players right from the get go. Their has to be a way to get their respect without being a dick all the time. Be a hard ass at the beginning and then pull back a bit. Seems to work in most workplaces. There is something about this guy that just makes me think that if I met him on the street he wouldn’t give me the time of day. It still comes down to one thing to an owner though…can he coach. I feel for those fans in Cleveland. The guy seems to have no sense of humour or personality, both of which will be needed this year.
The NFC is definetly the toughest division because of the competition but that AFC championship game between Pittburgh and Baltimore was a game for the ages as far as brutality goes imo. I think there were four concussions in that game. They carried a guy off after the opening kickoff.
So the Ravens might consider picking up Michael Vick. Not sure how they would use him. Wideout? I can just see it now…The great Ray Ray would shout from the top of his mountain how he will take him under his wing etc etc etc,show him the true way. The dude is awesome (when he can freelance that is) and a first ballot HOF but fuck sakes the shit that comes out of his mouth is too much. Maybe I’m just jealous cus I could never ever make a full lenght mink coat look good lol.
