Yeah that’s what I’ve been thinking as well. Thanks!
Impatience is why people take gear at young ages, barring medical necessity - I want to be bigger faster than I could naturally be. Split hairs and deceive yourself all you want, but insta bros posting filtered pics preaching patience because progress takes time when they’re taking gear 10 years too early at 50 lbs too light is nothing new on the internet. Good luck with everything.
“Irony”. You nailed it.
Mike O’Hearn catches a lot of shit, rightly so. But he nailed it in a video recently (valid excuse:
because it was in a Martins! video!) when he talked about all these new instagram guys with “awesome” bodies that look 2 dimensional in real life. I’ll at least give the OP credit for actually posting his stats…probably doesn’t know all the tricks of the trade yet…
add: oh, and am I the only one who thinks the moniker is a play on “I am god”? JFC.
If i want to start competing why would I wait 10 years instead of 3?
Depends on the person in my opinion, I don’t know why you’re so against people that are young doing these things.
I don’t mean this in a sarcastic way: I am sorry that you are so delusional.
I truly feel bad for it, and I hope you never actually end up having to deal with the consequences.
Because there are repercussions involved that you probably aren’t aware of/can’t comprehend. There are profound potential consequences down the line most young guys can’t really take seriously… at you’re current dose/cycle are they particularly likely to happen (cardiac, kidneys etc)… no, but it’s a fairly slippery slope, most keep cycling, escalating dosages until they’re at retard dose territory
Furthermore you seriously risk permenant endorcine damage… if you don’t/can’t recover you’ll need TRT for life, and this happens more often than you’d like to think, a GOOD portion of prior AAS users end up on lifelong TRT… trust me, it’s a literal pain in the ass
I’m not as against it comparative to flappinit (provided you’re not like 17-18)… but even then I still think it’s dumb… I disagree the you had 50lbs To put on… as 5’7 200 lbs lean is very large… but you could’ve easily put on another 20-25 lbs in a year…
Whether you wish to use is you’re individualistic choice, however that doesn’t mean one is going to condone/support you’re actions. I’m not of the belief that you require certain stats to earn a gear card… however I am of the belief that one needs to be well educated/read regarding the risks, have the ability to comprehend their own mentality/make rational, coherent decisions and at the very least know how to diet/train. I’ll applaud the fact that you’re using low dosages, but the mere fact you were able to put on over 20lbs so quickly further signifies the fact that you probably didn’t need gear…
This stems true for any age… whether it’s a young guy using to bulk up or an older guy using to bulk up when very small/uses megadosages (look at a profile on here named ukben, older… went full retard, people are giving him a bit of a hard time about it… yet generally people are turning a blind eye… shouldn’t be the case… he was completely dyel, used 700mg tren 50mg winny first cycle)… I’m far more irritated with that 24y/o than this guy
I’ve noticed younger people tend to be more impulsive, pull the plug quicker having made less research… some lack the ability to comprehend the notion of their own mortality and/or think they know everything regarding whatever they’re about to indulge in (dunning Krueger effect)…
It’s not as if he hopped on absent of training/dieting, but he was quite small and could’ve put on a lot of size naturally… didn’t need to use gear now, we will see how his luck pans out, whether he recovers or is one of the “help, I used gear now I’m fucked”… should be noted a lack of HPTA recovery has nothing to do with age, if anything you’re more likely to recover the younger you are… but he’s using nandrolone, an androgen + progestogen is insanely suppressive to the HPTA… Young people use gear for more than impatience/medical necessity, none of these examples fit this guy at all, because this guy hopped on seemingly for vanity/increased social media clout but
- The prospect of legitimately becoming a professional athlete (i.e we will give you this contract, you’ll make millions, but we need you to bulk up a bit)…
- Competing in bodybuilding (ALREADY competing… not “I’m going to compete”… because that’s a really lame excuse constantly thrown around)
- Is a famous actor that needs to bulk up quickly for a role (making millions)
- is already a fitness model with a massive lineup of photo shoots (making a lot of money), needs to stay diced/in peak condition for say 3-5 months
Mike O Hearn has no business criticising others on instagram, he’s one of the biggest liars in the fitness community… granted his video made a point… but he’s incredibly dishonest… he naturally produces tren, not test
I’ll close this message just in case it appears I’m playing devils advocate again (because I’m not)… this guy had no business running gear to begin with… he didn’t seem to be able to legitimately comprehend the risks, nor did he take the advice of anyone on here… esp regarding nandrolone, had he run test only it would’ve been a far better bet regarding recovery
He’s stated prior he was living the partying/drug use lifestyle… I assume given this (granted I’ve partied hard no doubt… once in a blue moon…) he’s a fairly impulsive individual, as are most young adults/late teens. I believe his decision to use gear was just that… an unplanned, stupid impulse decision wherein like when many young people using gear, he made up his mind instantaneously… no one could change it
I mean for gods sake, can one not take in the advice of anyone… there was even one guy who said something along the lines of “if you have to use, stay away from nandrolone”… he still didn’t listen to the one individual giving him constructive criticism regarding what to do as he was going to hop on anyway
Now we just have to sit back, hope he doesn’t irreversibly fuck himself up
EDIT… 150mg nandrolone weekly (as this poster was stating “hahaha, that’s not true”)… 150mg nandrolone weekly is MORE THAN ENOUGH to shut down fertility… a single 100mg injection appears to be strong enough regarding that it completely shuts off the HPTA… To OP, you’ve potentially made a big mistake using nandrolone, there’s a reason why the drug is primarily only used by the guys who blast and cruise
Also… why isn’t this in the pharma category… this wasn’t a real “rate my physique” post… this was an “I’m going to use gear, lets post this up and see if others can give me validation/approval to go ahead”
I don’t ‘see’ the 30lbs. I suppose that’s good and bad. The before and afters look pretty similar but its partially because you keep posing. Try taking some upright natural before and afters next bulk. It will help judge your progress far better.
Yeah, I wanted to chime in with this as well is that the before and afters do not make for very good comparisons when they aren’t photographed with any real consistency. @lammgard take all the flexed pics you want for social media, but for yourself (and preferably us), take a pair of relaxed+flexed front/back pictures taken at a place where you can take the photo again (to keep lighting the same).
i got a coach so i think i’ll be fine…
I’ll look into it, thank you!
Okay man sorry not used to these progress pics haha, I’ll do that for sure. Thanks for the feedback.
I see your point but after spending 10hrs per week in the gym with minimal results in return for the last 4-5 years made me feel like I wanted something more.
Not saying it was the only way, but it’s definetely more fun. Also want to have an advantage with the testosterone over my natty self since I can get more done without burning out.
Being a father, gymrat and running my own business is hard since I’ve always needed to put all balls in the same bucket. Spreading it out made me half ass everything.
So next time i’ll switch to prop and replace nandrolone with something else. Or just do a higher dose of test like 500mg.
I appreciate the feedback but I hope you see where I’m getting at. I take this to elevate my life not to destroy it. I know it’s gonna be more of a headache but i’m fine with that.
As mentioned before, am planning to compete next year or so and want to use performance enhancing supplements to give my journey there a little boost.
I’m also being coached by someone who’s had an elite placement at one of the biggest bodybuilding forums in my country. This guy is currently helping out a classic physique ifbb pro athlete with dosages to keep his stats healthy. So I feel like I’m in good hands.
Cheers
If you spend much time on here, you will find “coaches” mess people up at a pretty good rate of incidence.
Additionally, I have found that when someone mentions this cycle that their coach recommended I need to mentally prepare my self for the dumbest cycle I have yet to see.
Atleast the coach I have has a face and a physique that speaks for itself lol… Don’t mean to offend but it’s a different experience.
On forums people are too scientific with this stuff and talk even if they’re still natty… internet is full of crap.
When i Google my medicine that treats my attention deficit disorder all I see is sides but I don’t get any of these except for loss of appetite. People are too scientific and tell people that they will get permanent infertility from a nandrolone cycle just because some medical site adressed it as a potential side effect…
If this would be true then why are women able to have kids after shutting down their hormones using birth control pills?
Society is a mess…
Be aware that using amphetamine and AAS concurrently is a larger strain on the heart than either by themselves. IMO, heart issues should be the number 1 concern for AAS users. Fertility will almost for sure come back, bald won’t kill you, acne won’t kill you, your heart failing is a different story. Kidney and liver should also be concerns as many top BBers end up with kidney and liver issues.
Just try to make decisions that your way future self will be glad you made.
Thanks for the input, i’ll look into that. I have some issues with concentration so i take it for managing tasks easier at home and at work.
I will look into it, cheers man!
you clearly care more about finding the ‘best’ lighting/poses (which still aren’t doing you any favors, you look like a fucking twig) than you do about accurately and honestly assessing progress. You literally posted ZERO quality photos for physique assessment in the dozen or so you posted through this 78 post thread. If you actually care about making consistent, long term improvement, take some intelligent pictures.
Here’s what I recommend: use the same mirror every time. same lighting. same poses. you should do a back shot relaxed, a back shot flexed, a front shot relaxed, and a front shot flexed. same poses each time. Full body if possible. None if this filtered, weird angle instagram shit. Save that for your social media, it’s not for TNation. Give us something to work with, sir. I think you’re afraid of getting real feedback on real pictures.
Hey, thanks for the input. I will try to do this next time. I’ve just never really taken these kind of photos so I’m not used to it.
Thank you for the layout though!
Don’t need to call me a twig because of the photos I take though…
