hit 315x20 over break, pretty brutal, I won’t front. 365x20 by 2010 is the goal.

Show-off…I’m jealous.[/quote]

Just looked at your profile. You’re doing 315x20 at a bodyweight of 165? Is all your weight in your lower body?

Damn, that’s impressive. Looks like I need adjust my training.

Here’s my entry: 405 for 26 reps. Squat 405x26, deep, no belt/wraps - YouTube

I’m the same guy who put up 315 for 42 a few weeks back.

AWESOME! SICK!

Well done! You are now oficially the leader! I am going to update the first post with the video. I knew you could do it! Congratulations! You are a beast! 26 reps! oh my god!

I am proud to be beaten like a gentleman like you!

Maybe I will kick back some day!

In prison speak, that has a TOTALLY different meaning :s

Fcuking sick squatting by all so far. 150x20 remains my best.

180kg x26 is just inhuman.

I know nothing about prison speak.

I wonder what SquatDr could do, I remeber him saying he set a PR of 600x10 or so powerlifting style

Well, if those 10 where done with only a breath between each rep, he could probably get ~585 for 20 breathing a lot between reps. That would be SICK!

Talk is cheap. Show us some footage. And this challenge is not about 10 reps. It is about 20 reps. Many of those extremely big dudes that are very strong, they don’t do high reps. Why? Ask them.

I’m skeptical. If I do a maximal set of 10 reps, taking extra deep breaths is not going to get me to 11 reps, let alone 20. A 10RM is by definition the most you can do for 10 reps. If you could do more, it wouldn’t be a max.

I consider a 10RM the most reps you could do without breaks between reps. If I rested between reps I could probably do 10 with my 5RM, or 20 with my 10RM.

this is what he did 3 years ago, and he told me he’s been maintaining around 625 for a few sets of 5 these days after sprinting

squat- 605x10
front squat 455x7

so I could see him getting 585 x 20 if he really went after it, but it would disrupt his sprinting goals.

100kg x20 today. pretty easy.

will try 110kg-120kg next.

Scott

thosebananas: Good thing, keep the spirit alive! I am going for 190kg x 20 now… Got to 12 reps this far. I am busting my ass, and I will get it!

Good God, man. You’re a beast.

As for me… (and this is laughable,) I did my first set of 20-rep squats ever on Wednesday… 195 lbs X 20. It was definitely too easy, and I plan on bumping it up to 205 next week. Also, I don’t know how everyone is structuring these, but I’m doing 4 ramp sets prior to these with a heavy set of 4-6 before the 20 reppers.

I just warm up for one workset, my last workout was like this (numbers in kg):

50x10
90x10
110x5
130x2
150x1
170x1
190x12

I’ve done it like that all the way…
