505 squat, 220 pounds, 18 years old, and thats an old PR for me
Nice squat OP. To get this thread back on track, how about sharing with us how you trained to get there?

You are also high. Not it isn’t a full squat high, but I’d give you a red light from the front and feel good about it high.
CONGRATULATIONS WITH THE PR!!!
My opinion:
Positives:
- GREAT EFFORT! Not everybody would have made that squat! GOOD JOB!
Negatives:
- SETUP. You waste some energy setting up for this squat. Just inhale. Unrack, two steps back, and then you go.
- DEPTH. This squat is not deep enough. You to get a little bit deeper. It is not much more you need to sink into that hole, but it certainly is cut a little bit high.
- SHOES. Squatting in running shoes is a big NO-NO. Get some good squatting shoes, I noticed you said some chucks are on their way. SUPER GREAT!
All in all, not only a good squat, but also some excellent strength for your bodyweight! Keep it up. Looking forward to more EXCELLENT SQUATS from you in the future!
Since you took the time to find multiple videos of world record or close to world record attempts I would guess your being sarcastic. But since I am not quite sure if you’re being sarcastic; how are these not powerlifting squats if they are breaking powerlifting records. It’s a personal preference and squatting with your feet extremely wide is not only hard to walk out but also hard to hit depth with.
you’re a beast, how tall are you?
Take your time with your set up. Try getting your feet a little closer before lifting it. First step straight back then widen up.
My school had those same racks, older model, but those deep rhino hooks suck for powerlifting (too deep). Other than that the racks are great and can take a beating.

Thanks Fellas, I moved my stances in about two or three inches (soo much easier to get depth). In the video i was too wide and it was near impossible for me to go lower. I have my first meet this Saturday, ill post my lifts for sure. Thanks again!

This is by far the best post in this thread.

I too would have given it a red light from the front. Its about 2" high IMO.

You shouldn’t be judging depth from the front unless it’s obvious. If you’re watching this live, it’s not obvious. You can’t even see where the hip crease is, and you’re calling 2" high FROM THE FRONT. It’s bullshit.
Any dumb ass that gets on here and says squattin deep isnt important is a fucking dumb ass. NONE of the vids on the first page are deep squats. Yes, including Tate and Vogelphol. And those guys would be the first to tell you those should have red lighted. But nowadays federations just wanna see records broken at their meets rather than focusing on form.
All you dumb asses saying those squats were legit read this 12 | October | 2010 | 70's Big
Also, I dont give a fuck what you say, it AINT RAW if your using knee wraps or a belt, I know both are excepted in RAW comps but everyone knows they help the bar up along with preventing injury, if youve squatted with and without a belt and knee wraps then you KNOW they make a difference.
If you cant squat it naked, you cant squat it RAW
HIPS BELOW THIGH
IT AINT ROCKET SCIENCE

Actually it is obvious. You can easily see the hip crease given the tight pants. And just to be sure, I played it back hitting the play/pause button as quickly as I could (which is where I got my 2" estimate from). At no point is he close to breaking parallel. Red light from me without a 2nd thought.
Finally, the only angle we’re given is from the front. Are we supposed to just pretend that every squat is good if we don’t have a side angle to see?
Great effort
