It always makes me laugh how people like you make such bold statements, yet don’t even have a pic of themselves up.

BF% in 20s lol. Oh well, at least you’re honest. But may be you should consider going easy on the donuts and hamburgers for a while?

They dont practice at full pace as much as you think. If they did they would break down more frequently.
They run through stuff and have a small scrimage but it is rarely 4-5 cardio.
I play at state level in Aus about 2 below pro and have played with and against pro aus players.

Generally with a full time job, 3 games a week and 2 training sessions, I rarely have time for regular weights in season and I drop weight, then put it back on in off season. BUT I am quicker, lighter and jump higher mid season after loosing a few kilos than at the start. Just my experience tells me bulkier is not better in ball, unless your a big guy anyway.
We can agree that a professional basketball player in the NBA (read: most competitive league in the world) practices a minimum of 2.5 hours, and possibly up to 4 hours a day of essentially LSD cardio (long slow distance). They are running practices at slower paces. This will decrease muscle size, with out a doubt.

As to your contention that you are “quicker, lighter and jump higher mid season after losing a few kilos than at the start” : What kind of weight are you losing? It seems that if you are actually jumping higher and becoming more explosive, you are probably losing excess fat. You can’t tell me that losing muscle will help you “jump higher.” It will definitely make you lighter, but unless all your muscle is in your upper body ( in which case you aren’t training properly in general, much less for ball) losing that “big and bulky” muscle won’t help you become more explosive in your vertical jump or help your foot speed.

I will agree that some arm muscle can mess up your mechanics. I have a buddy who started taking creatine after lifting for a couple of years and found that his arms and shoulders grew much faster than they had been growing. This unexpected bulk messed with his shooting stroke. He dropped the creatine and kept lifting and growing slower, as he had done before and became acclimated with the muscle much easier. He also became faster on defense and can jump significantly faster, and is now a PG with post-presence.

[edit: I meant that after putting on weight, he had become faster on defense and was much more athletic, and is now able to post down players because of his new strength. apologies]

oh for the love of god…

please go on I never laughed so hard! Tell more reason for not having muscles. muscles=bad no muscles=good

The evolution of this thread:

 • rating the OP’s physique.
 • Indian actors and their training/diet protocols
 • a debate on race, genetic potential and general worth
 • a potshot at an unrelated guy’s gf for no reason
 • a debate on size vs strength vs agility

This thread is epic.

pretty good Entertainment oh I forgot I rate u as a 3 I seen worst that is what we are doing right? rating?

you’re right. i started lifting weights b/c i wanted to be ‘big, bulky and slow’.

what a jackass.

it really pisses me off when people assume that once you actually start to look like you’ve touched a weight, apparently you revert to the athletic ability of a 4 year old ADD striken child hyped up on pixi sticks.
Hell yeah mac, it pisses me off too!! Some of my friends who workout, they want to get to my “size”, but they don’t want non functional muscles, become slow, and non flexible.

For chan, yoked up and those who think being big makes you slow and loose athletic ability…

Here is Mac doing a backflip. I just had to :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
WHAT WHAT!!!

Exactly dude! Well said. I wished the majority of members here would get there heads out of their asses and understand that not everyone here wants to be HUUUGEE.

All the big weight lifter types need to understand that not everyone shares their desire to turn into a 300lb walking heart attack. And if they want to look like hulking bodybuilders then then that’s there business too - that’s a matter for them to discuss with their psychologists, but they shouldn’t expect everyone to share these aspirations.
Yes this is understandable. Yet you are on a site that at first catered primarily to bodybuilders. notice the Relentless Pursuit of MuscleWritten at top? So why talk shit and say things like “walking heart attacks” “big, bulky, and slow”. It’s gibberish and childish grow the fuck up.

This reminds me of those local surfers who have been surfing waves at a certain beach for years upon years . Then you have new comers who barge in talking shit and taking whatever waves they want. Well you know what happens to them? They get flamed and beat down in front of everyone.

broski,

 1. what claim did I make? all did was ask a question here.
 2. I’ve had many pics up since my first post here back in August
 3. My bf is realistic being that I am 300+ pounds ( I could never do a cutting phase, and I’d still be more muscular than you) but when I do decide to cut out It will be epic.
 4. are you denying that a 300 pound man cant be agile and fast? my examples of proof that indeed they can be are ronnie coleman, dante culpepper, warren sapp, brian urlacher list goes on

so I’m going to take the route of nobilty here and not argue with you. However I would like you to respond to each of the 4prompts I posed.
