well i’m planning on doing a meet the weekend after that one over in dubuque, however we may try to split up our group into half doing that meet and half doing the dubuque meet, that way we can actually have people help each other out. you going raw or equipped for that meet?[/quote]
Equipped. I have only ever been raw. Just started in gear a few weeks ago. I hate bench shirts with a passion already, ha…but I got Shawn Frankl helping me so at least I hopefully won’t bomb. My equipped numbers won’t be anything special…

squatting just didn’t feel good. since everything is kinda going down hill now i’m gonna take the rest of this week a little lighter then deload next week. should give me some good recovery time. just felt off today, whatever.

pretty sure thats it. prolly went a lil heavy on the scoops press but i haven’t done it in a while and was curious to where i’m at on my shoulder work, turns out it was pretty easy. the other guys did a heavy squat day and hit some pretty good numbers and lil kyle finally hit his 4 plate per side squat and since it was on our squat bar it was 415 instead of 405. gonna do my speed squat and dead work on fri afternoon. hopefully i’ll feel more motivated next week.
Soo I’m thinking here on in I’ll focus entirely on my leg press until I can get 1300lbs, then I should have the squat record in the bag. Go ahead and be jealous since I thought of it first
that’s it. squatting was ok. my third rep on the 640 was my best rep, having trouble finding my groove i think? all in all a pretty good night though. def have some more weight to put on so things are looking pretty good right now for the november meet.
that’s all. moved quick and got out. pretty happy with benching. did a 30lb jump on my last set cuz i wanted to try to save some energy early on and wanted to focus on my final weight.

so that’s it. took a lil while and my back was pretty shot. added a plate for the 710 cuz i’m real sure the 700 was approx to that depth. i was surprised how well it went and my plan was 780 for reverse bands but might as well just put a full plate on and go 800, why not right? it was smooth but there wasn’t a whole lot left. things still looking good for the meet.
db incline- 90lb x15, x14(didn’t give myself enough time between sets)
supinated band pull aparts- x20x2
so that’s all, benching went pretty well. the 405 1 board was my best and was kinda easy. the 375 also went pretty well and another pr there. so things are looking pretty good.
