I was wondering if you could provide input on the following 2-day layer template I’ve been toying around with. Basically, you do less layers on each lift so the volume is scaled back a bit even though you do multiple lifts in a single session. Since I have had the most success and enjoyment from extended sets, I have come up with the following:

HIGH PULL 6x3
BENCH PRESS 3RM
80% x 3 extended sets
SHOULDER PRESS 3RM
80% x 3 extended sets
LAT WORK

HANG POWER CLEAN 6x3
FRONT SQUAT 3RM
80% x 3 extended sets
DEADLIFT 3RM
80% x 3 extended sets
AB WORK
Any input is greatly appreciated. The 2-Day template thread in this forum got me thinking more about the issue…
