Is it fair to say that people are upset about this case because of the lack of outrage by the media/Obama? If that is the case, then you must realize that these three are going to fry. There is no hope for them, whatsoever. Whether that is because they find the incident racially motivated or not doesn’t really matter.
The Zimmerman case was blown out of proportion; people marched through the streets in outrage, the media screamed racism, stand your ground law came under scrutiny, and the president spoke out in disgust. What happened? Zim is walking around right now and will probably get a book deal or some nonsense. Everyone who protested missed out on all their pay, were fired, or never had a job to begin with. Obama pissed a bunch of people off who most likely didn’t like him anyway. Why is everyone so upset about the outrage? He was acquitted.
So what is being argued here? Would you rather have a bunch of people protest your acquittal or have everyone remain silent while the suspects all rot?
I thought it was understood by everyone that poverty begets crime. Blacks and Hispanics have a disproportional poverty rate when compared to other races in the US. Maybe PX has a bit of a point saying some (SOME) are being held back by racial bias. I still personally hold that everyone is capable of escaping their current situation and find it shameful that some may be afraid to pursue their goals in fear of prosecution.
