I agree with you here, but just to play devil’s advocate, a lot of people preach doing the deadlift simply because it’s a more inclusive exercise than rack-pulls and certainly more compound than any kind of rowing although I myself like t-bar rows as well. I personally do all 3…I certainly wouldn’t tell him not do deadlift unless some constraint prevents him from doing so, but I agree with you he doesn’t HAVE to, especially if he’s doing rack pulls and various row pulling for thickness. I think it’s like saying just do shrugs instead of rack pulls, then just do rack pulls instead of deadlifts…na, do everything.

good progress, but like some others have said you need to work on your back. I’d also say work on your chest too. Your legs and arms look to be your strongest. Keep up the good work and I hope you reach your goals
