Really? Listen, I agree, you’ve made some good progress, especially on your quads. My point was that I’ve seen other threads where the progress was similar and the person was ripped to pieces.[/quote]

What would you rip to pieces about me? I might not agree, but I certainly wouldn’t mind any constructive criticism.

We’re miscommunicating. I already said that I’m in agreement that you’ve made good progress. I’m saying that people’s “ratings” don’t seem to be consistent all the time in my opinion. Out of curiousity, why aren’t you deadlifting? Your back could benefit unless you suffered an injury that’s preventing you from doing it.

back thickness. go get some.

I did for a long time, but even with a lot of practice it was never something that I was good at, I was constantly having to make sure I didn’t revert back to poor form, and I felt like I could achieve similar results with different exercises. I do Romanian Deadlifts, which I really enjoy and find a lot easier.

My back is a little flat. I think my triceps and shoulders need a little more work, but I’ve been increasing the volume for back training as well, hopefully it will show.

#2 Everyone trains differently, (time/volume/intensity) has differant diets, supplementation, etc.

c) Your full of shit

d) August 2010? Have you gone full retard son? Why does everyone want credit for shit they haven’t even done yet all the sudden?

Well, I was very consistent for at least a year at the start, and I ate so much that I got pretty fat, so I don’t think I could have gained much more muscle, and my lifts didn’t go up anywhere near that much. So I guess you’re just naturally predisposed to be better at this than me.

No, you need to buy a clue.

The sad part is, I honestly think you do not understand why what you did was a douche bag move.

But like I said, I’ll never converse with you again.

Yeah, I know referring to my own progress to compare his is douchebag, but to what do you want me to judge the op progress? The only thing I can compare to is my stuff. I don’t have any reference except my personnal experience.

OP, you don’t need to deadlift from the ground to build back thickness. Rack pulls+shrugback is my fav, works like a charm. Heavy T-bar rows is another option. I don’t know why so many are hung up on conventional deadlifting if the goal is to bodybuild.
