I like the idea of a 24hr fast once a week that you posted (#4). Did you carb up the night before the fast or just eat as you normally would? Always wanted to try the 24hr fast but for some reason fear that I would burn muscle or my metabolism would go to hell. can’t stand the thought of not eating for 24 hours. Seems to have worked well for you though. Well done!

I just ate normal but I did try to schedule it after my carb-load day, if possible. The 16/8 is more common, but I just preferred going hungry once a week rather than counting the hours until I ate everyday. On the 24 hour fast, I did on my non-weight training day. I think I did pretty good as far as holding on to muscle. I’ve done the velocity diet before and this worked much better as far as keeping muscle…the whole program, I mean.
