Hi everyone, i’m getting into doing my first steroid cycle at the age of 23. i’ve been training for 5 years now and want to gain decent muscle size. currently 70kg and want to be 82-85kg lean. i’ve been reading alot of how a first cycle should be just test E primarily for 8-12weeks followed with a possible PCT if needed. based on everyone’s vast knowledge here. please recommend and educate me so i dont mess my body up
What was your weight when you started lifting weights?
Also, your height and approximate body composition would be helpful.
hey thanks for replying!
height: 172 cm | 5 6”
current body composition as in BF%: i fluctuate between 18-23% max
original bw was 59kg
I’ve been reading some of your first cycle forum posts of how you’ve ran dbol with test. Im also leaning towards that as my cycle maybe even with some deca. for PCT and AI’s what do you recommend?
Your posting in the wrong forum. Move your post to the Pharma/TRT forum please.
This is way too young. Your body/brain are not done developing yet. This is a great way to mess up your hormone profile for the rest of your life.
Then you have just begun training. Bodybuilding is a long game, not a race. Spend 5 more years building a solid base and reaching your genetic limit and then think about gear.
You are way too fat to even think about using steroids.
I started AAS because I competed. You placed this thread in the “Competitive Bodybuilding” subforum, so I am going to assume you plan to compete.
I started lifting weights in 1968 and entered my first contest in November 1970. In early 1971 (age 22) I started Dianabol (only) of 10mg/day for 8 week cycles. I did not start taking testosterone until 1978.
All use of AAS should be with the acknowledgement that there is a risk:benefit when being used. That is, you are trying to make your muscles larger, knowing that your health is at risk.
I never allowed my percent body fat to exceed 15%, and I only cut to compete in a bodybuilding contest. My muscle growth came slow but steady. It took me eleven years to change my 15% body fat weight from 165lbs to 242lbs.
All the above said, much more knowledge about AAS and its health risks has greatly increased. First cycles have vastly changed from when I started.
My general thought about AAS and weight training, is that if you are not competing, there is no rational reason for taking AAS. Very few people who take AAS agree with my position.
