19sixty RESTOMOD

Question- Looking at getting a Prowlr or some sort of Sled to drag and push…I’ll be using it on an asphalt driveway that is flat ( thankfully) … any thoughts on which one? Thanks

@oldergoat I’ve used a Prowler II on pavement and a Rogue dogsled on gym floor, along with just a plain old dragging sled on pavement. The prowler is just awesome. ONLY issue is that the 3 prong system means it can fishtail on you when dragging, but some see that as a feature instead of a bug, because it can make the dragging even tougher.

Something to keep in mind is that it makes a HELLUVA racket. Loud scraping metal on asphalt noise. I actually take mine to a secluded area because I do my prowling at 0400 and don’t want to be an a-hole neighbor in that regard.

Moving up to 5s with the AMRAP on trap bar…have to do that Friday, flying out Saturday to Scottsdale ( great freakin’ Arizona in July only time til next Feb we can assemble)…small mini vacay 3days with our kids their partners and a couple of strays… renting a 7 bedroom house with pool, lazy river, game room, basketball court…but it will be 100+ so Im hiding in the pool and doing some early morning light hiking trail walks…Have an ATV to gun range excursion planned and a trip to the Penske racing museum…the caloric deficit may be in jeopardy!

Look at Rogue Fitness. I paid a little more and got the plastic skis for the bottom. It makes it not as loud and protects your driveway. I can’t say enough about mine.

Biker- Not being in discomfort or having to worry about it makes a difference. Following the plan I set out ( for a change ) helps as well.

Good times… Although I hit my reps on Pendlay I think I cheated on the final rep of sets 2 and 3 so I am going to repeat this. I will move up to 9s on DB press… these felt just right. the goal is to get to 90’s by the end of the year.

Im definitely loosing some sludge, visually at least …weigh in and measurements tomorrow for the week 1 check.

Good plan for the 4th. God also invented sun strokes so be careful. I had a slight one last week and we’re not as hot as Arizona.

I had no gas on pendlay’s so instead of jerking the weight around I dropped to sets of 5 instead of 8s and added 2 sets…back so spent from DL yesterday

Inclines hit reps so I will move up to 75s starting at 7 reps. The rest of the workout was fluff for the beach ! Actually going out on a friend’s boat ( the best kind of boat ) this afternoon…
