1800+ Raw Total And 800+ Deadlift Drug Free 181 Class

Been a while. I am bumping up a weight class to 198 for a while, possibly for good. Goals are changing to between 1800-1900 total in sleeves and a 840 deadlift. 2nd highest 198 tested raw total is only 1857 and an 840 deadlift would put me top 10 all time tested regardless of bodyweight. Been doing more volume on the lifts and am weighing around 196-200 depending on the time of day. Assuming to get to 203-205 and hold my bodyweight there for a while. Recent lifts this week were squat 450x11 after 4 triples with it, 305x8 bench after 4 triples and 615x10 deadlift. Could see myself going low 600s squat / about 400 bench / mid 800s deadlift at 198 with time

Did you give up on squatting in wraps or what?

I wouldn’t even look at tested records except in a fed with a tested division. At USAPL nationals there were 3 guys in the 74kg class all breaking the untested squat ATWR and a bunch of other crazy shit.

I’m looking at open powerliftings all time records. And I’m not a fan of wraps they hurt my knees and don’t have anyone to really wrap them

Still going, in the last week I hit 455x11 squat after 4 triples, 305x9 on bench after 2 triples and 625x10 on deadlift. Bodyweight is 194-195. Need to get it back up a bit. The squat and deadlift are the heaviest weight I’ve ever hit for that many reps and the bench ties a lifetime best.

Thank you how you had a merry Christmas and happy new year also. The added bodyweight must be helping is not much maybe 4-5 lbs on average and really trying to drink a lot more water. A gallon compare to the 32 Oz I usually end up drinking.

Yea. Bodyweight seems to be sitting in the high 190s for the most part. A little light the day of this lift about 196 but overall feeling pretty good. Looking like I’m closing in on a 600 squat in sleeves and with that, I might be in the high 1700s total. Have my eye on number two spot under Jesse Norris for 198 tested in sleeves. Only need an 1836 ish.

Are you going to push body weight way up and cut a whole bunch of water or just stay around 198?

You’re the only guy I ever heard of who lives off fast food and has six pack abs and a 1700+ total. This can’t be real.

I think I want to stay under 205 for the most part right now. Gain strength from the weight gain and see where I’m at. I’ve never technically hit 1700 in comp, but gym lifts come out to 1725-1740 sleeves and in wraps with paused Bench and calibrated plates for deadlift. I was around 192-195 for those lifts I believe. I just know I have more than my 1692@188.7 total in me. Especially weighing in 10 lbs heavier with or without a weight cut. Really hoping to be ballparking 600/390/785 when I peak but we’ll have to see how things go. Bench has been hit and miss with my shoulders for a long time now.

O and my girlfriend jokes all the time about me eating garbage food and staying lean while she’s on a strict diet prepping for a bikini show

Went in to pull yesterday. 640 for max reps. Something was off and kept getting pitched forward. I ended up stopping at 7 really pissed off. Gave it a few minutes and kept the weight closer to me and hit a set of 9 that were much better reps. Didn’t record that set though.

Well finished my light deadlift work for the week and was putting my plates back on a furniture dollie and clipped the tip of my pointer finger and basically degloved the top of it. Pics will follow soon. At least I squatted an all time pr of 475x9.
