I was going to go 770 but my buddy said 755 and since I hit that last time I took 760. Good thing cause I didn’t have anything art that triple. In a day in feeling good I will take a pr. Also forgot to mention did a drop set of 2x2 with 660 paused after the 760

Here is the pr. On a day I did not feel my best. Haven’t been able to trust a fart all day and worked about 3 hours longer than normal. Came in and pulls just moved. Pulled my smoothest deadlift over 740 ever. (With all calibrated plates touching the floor). Previous best was a 765 that wouldn’t have passed comp. Hit 771 today and it felt pretty good. Followed it with 670 for a 2x2 paused, then squatted 430x11. Even weighed in light at just under 189 lbs. I’ve got a video of 705 last warm up, 771 pull and second set of 670 paused double. Gonna post it tomorrow. I’m dead tired right now.
When I read this I just thought of Larry Wheels. When that guy runs out of regular PRs to hit he’ll be so addicted to PRs that he will start hitting PRs with an asterisk (like sick or tired or travelling or something)
To be fair the calibrated plates vs regular 45s do make a big difference.

The middle clip was 771. First clip was 705 last clip was the 670 paused double
Squatted up to 565x3 reverse band. Then pulled 6 singles at 660 about 30 seconds apart. Someone was using the deadlift jack so I was sliding my plates in and managed to crush the skin on the bottom of my middle finger nicely. Was bleeding everywhere but at least my grip still held up.
Going to see how the next 3-4 weeks feel. If everything feels good I’ll be going to 181 in wraps. Shoulder started acting up a little and lower back is slightly off. Could see giving 771 a shot on a second. And if everything goes perfect ballpark a mid 1700.
Sorry for the lack of posts. Trying to figure out what I’m doing. Shoulder and let back were giving me some real problems. For now on I will be getting hand offs on bench to help the shoulder. It seems to be coming back. Lower back feels alright now, didn’t expect it to be hurt for long. Now I just feel sick. Possibly allergies. Deadlifts did not go well. Top set was 705x3 and couldn’t break 755 off the floor. I think most likely from not feeling well. Squats managed to go great. I moved my feet out a few inches and managed 475x7. Closest comparable set to that was 480x8 on a fresh day feeling good so i was happy with that. Gives me confidence I should be able to go 573 on a second in wraps and ballpark 600 on a third possibly.
Lol I thought that first pull was your 771 and my first thought was like yea he’s good for like 830.

Sorry really fell off on my log. Got my shoulder feeling good. Lower back did feel good then my mid back did something. Got that fixed with a chiropractor. Now my lower back is kind of beat up. Just a lot of shit. I haven’t had really any practice in wraps and may go in sleeves if my back feels better. I think it will. Id like to still try to Crack 1700 in sleeves at 181 but I think I’m going to need a perfect day. 560/370/770. I know I could Crack it in wraps but need more time in them. My back wasn’t holding up well enough to add wraps and weight. Recent lifts I’ve hit are squat - 525x3, Bench paused 315x6 and recently taking it easy 345x2 leaving a third in the tank. And deadlift 685x5 ties my best ever but this time I came way out of the groove on the second rep and still managed to make it work. Some of these are in my ig.
Getting ready, comp is Sunday. I want to hit 1700 in sleeves at 181 but this prep has been shit. My back had been giving me nonstop problems. It’s starting to feel better now but I don’t know how it’ll go when I start adding weight. At least the cut will be fairly standard at about 9 lbs ±1lb.
Do you have a legitimate program that you follow, and/or a coach?

Did you ever start eating clean? If so did it help?
I did for a few days then went back to garbage ha ha. That’s usually how it goes
