Literally not human.
holy triceps lol
And my bench always tends to fail at the top.
Hit bench this morning with some close grip, Db press, Close grip row and some light cable rows. Should’ve posted earlier cause I forget the rest.

Had someone talking shit about sumo so pulled conventional today. Tweaked my side a bit but but 10 lbs off my best. Haven’t seriously pulled it in a year ago willing to bet I could go 650-660 with some practice. It actually felt way harder off the floor than sumo. Shut it down after that cause it wasn’t worth getting hurt over.
Conventional deadlift
135x8, 225x5, 315x3, 405x3, 495x2, 565x2, 615x1
Stuff the haters man. Its not worth injury just to prove you can pull conventional.
Checked how everything is holding up high bar squatted to 275 no problem. Benching with an arch could feel tightness so didn’t push it. Hooked up a stand last night where my buck has been coming into the field to ambush him the next nw wind.
High bar Squat
Barx10, 135x10, 185x10, 225x10, 275x10
Football bar bench
145x5, 165x5, 185x5, 205x5, 225x5, 245x5
Tested to see how things feel. Squat was no problem. Deadlift was tight with the belt felt normal beltless.
High bar squat
135x10, 225x10, 315x10
Deadlift
135x6, 225x6, 315x5, 405x3, 495x1, 585 for 3 Singles moved easy but didn’t pull for speed today
Good to see you didn’t hurt yourself too badly.
Does this make you more or less likely to incorporate conventional DL in training regularly? I know some people would argue that pulling the “other” style has benefits, while others would say it’s not worth working outside the style you pull in contest.
I don’t know really. Id like to build it up but because i don’t pull that way in comp and positioning feels so shitty I might not. It kills my whole back. Can’t remember the last time my whole back was sore like this lol.
Brah, I think a horse kicked you see a doc asap!
I don’t get it
Lol, you’ve got a well-developed tricep that looks a horseshoe.
It was a joke…
You’ve never heard that before?

I have but never the way you said
Oh, ha. I was trying to get a laugh while complimenting you. You’re a beast, man.
Lol thanks dude
Got up early today to do some hunting in the way to work. Didn’t last long record lows plus 17mph winds nonstop. I was done in two hours. Didn’t get to drink any water today and just felt kind of shitty. Working the weight back up without the belt. The belt puts tension on the area bothering me. Without it seems fine.

Took the last few days off. Getting some hunting in before the gun guys come in and shoot everything. Should be lifting tomorrow
Couldn’t stay away. Hit the gym earlier today. Will do full post in the morning but got a high bar Squat pr for 10 and wasnt feeling 100%. 405x10 beltless. Best low bar is 12 beltless

Threw a few sets of Pull ups in there also
Had some running around to do so couldn’t lift for long. Did really shock myself though with deadlifts today. I can’t wear a belt right now cause it puts pressure on the muscle strain but beltless is fine for the most part. I pulled heavy to see how things felt and pulled a huge pr double beltless 695 with some left but I didn’t want to go over board. Was quite tempted to load 725 for a beltless double. As long as I can work the belt back in soon enough I am planning to pull 770-780 before new years. Id say 85% I could pull something in that range.
Deadlift
135x8, 225x6, 315x5, 405x3, 495x2, 585x2, 635x2, 675x2, 695x2- all beltless sets
