Paused squats sucked, wanted to pull 650 for 3 to redeem myself. Ended up hitting a sloppy set of 4. The bar whip caught me. Going to have to sacrifice speed of the floor to control the whip. Hopefully the video isn’t too shitty, it was transferred from I phone to iPhone before youtube. Big pull coming next Monday. O also I’ll add no straps for this and may go hook for the pull next week depending how I feel

Hit some close grip bench and slingshot, not sure if I mentioned this but I will be trying to only hit heavy comp bench once ever week or two. So far my shoulder feels pretty good.

Squats today, just really been feeling heavy and grindy. I think I’m going to go back to squatting daily again. Saw great results from that. Will be alternating front and back squats with some variations thrown in. I just feel awkward with it and don’t like that one bit. Was hitting 455x8 then like 2 sets of 7 but right now doubles at 465 feel terrible. Deadlifts moved well. Working on pulling the slack out of the bar a lot more before breaking the floor to help with bar whip. Going to continue the program I was doing with Deadlift and bench and see how they go. Legs just need more volume and to get hit more often. My right thumb is hurting a little from the deads today so may possibly throw on straps for the Deadlift Monday. Goal is smooth comp quality (minus the straps) rep at 700 but if I think 2 is there I’m pulling for it.

Hit some bench today, close grip banded touch and go. Followed by slingshot and a heavy paused single and a bit heavier paused touch and go. Few rows, some football bar, and shoulder press.

Can’t make this Shit up. Made a long cast that landed just over the pipe I wanted and about 6" on land, went to pull it in and got stuck. Figured it was snagged, pulled hard and this dropped into the water. I thought I hooked a fountain line at first. Lure is a super fluke.

Got two angles I’m now in the 700 Lb club. Pulled a smooth comp quality single at 700 with a hook grip then a grindy shaky 710 with straps that I lost right after locking but I’m counting it as a gym best. I honestly couldn’t believe how well 700 came off the floor. I’ll have the video up Wednesday.

I’m planning to do one sept 10. I originally planned to bulk up to 198 but I’m not getting very heavy averaging about 190-192 so more than likely I’ll be going 181 again. Hopefully will go about 1650 this time around, depending where my Deadlift is at. I’ve been throwing roughly 25lbs at it every 2 months since I switched to sumo and it’s never quite felt like a max. Keeps feeling like a hard single that I could have tossed a few more lbs at.

Definitely feel I’m a threat to ed coans record after this 700 and 710

IDK how to answer that. I not on anything, never have been and complete in a drug tested fed. That’s the best I can say, some will believe me others won’t. But when you see my leverage for it you’ll see why I could throw weight at it. I think he was on when he pulled 766 but they weren’t able to test for what he was talking cause his Deadlift only went up less than 30 lbs in the same class after completing in untested feds.
