And I’ve been keeping track now. Have now for all my pains and what to roll to fix them. Left knee and sciatic nerve pain roll right side erector muscle, right knee pain roll right tear drop ect. So far it’s been working pretty good.
Knee seems to be feeling 90% better. Tear drop muscle was causing the pain. Rolled that a few times over the week ands let it rest. I think I’ve made up my mind to sign up for the tested American pro 3 and see how training goes leading to it. I would like to ballpark 639/407/804 or better going in. Forget what I said cause I’m not on here often but weight gain isn’t going too well. Sitting at 198-202 most of the time. My body is having a hard to to push up further. Might have to go back to grinding oats. If I can consistently weight over 205 i should choose in on those numbers. For reference those numbers are 20/16/10 over my best in gym comp standard lifts
Setting if links work again. Here’s 370x2 on bench. I think 6 lbs off my best double of I remember correctly. Used to have a lot saved and accidently deleted them a few months back so starting over.
Almost pulled 765 for a double the other day (761 is my best ever double I believe) About as close as I could without hitting it. Knee is feeling great. Well see how squat goes this weekend. Either taking 550 ish for a single or a few reps depending how the single moves. Last week’s 530 single has me pretty excited to see how it feels/goes.
Took 556x4 today. Would’ve liked 5 but they didn’t move the best.
Kind of torn right now. The American pro sign up opens Feb 15. It will probably sell out same day. My knee is still bothering me And I don’t want to sign up and pressure myself into pushing it and wasting my time. I need 1800+ to be competitive. Bench is well on its way towards 400 though. Shoulder issue I’ve had for years seems solved.
Couldn’t squat without pain. Benched 345x4 today though.
Benched up to a double at 360 and 370. 370 is right at my heaviest recent double so i should be a little past that now in a good day.
Benched a paused triple at 355 yesterday. Going to keep pushing the deadlift of my knee is feeling alright. I found a muscle I haven’t rolled yet for my knee pain. The area that’s given me some problems on deadlift a while back. Inner thigh towards hamstring kind of. Rolled it the other day real good and knee felt better. Had zero pain on deadlift pulling 672 plus bands. The other week 615 plus bands was killing my knee. Hoping this fixes it. If not I’ll continue to figure it out while I keep my bench and deadlift moving along. That way if squat takes a while and comes back down the road I can still have a chance to pr total even without a pr squat.
Knees feeling good but taking the weight up slow. Have to consistent room it to keep the pain away each day. Squatted 435x5 paused today. Also Larsen pressed a single at 375 the other day.
Benched a single at 386 today. Moved well and shoulders are feeling good. Best ever paused single is 391 and that was most likely there if I loaded it.
Pushing the slingshot work now too. Took a single tng at 445. Moved well for only starting it back up a few weeks ago. Most I’ve ever hit is 455 with it.
640x9 ish deadlift yesterday. I believe this is an all time pr for me slightly adjusted my pull technique. Video won’t upload here.
Benched a triple at 360 yesterday, miss loaded thinking it was closer to 363. Pulled 655x9 ish today. Still having issues with my knees so squat been pretty shot lately.
395 single on bench today. Little pause. My life time paused bench is 391 so this was nice. Did over head tricep extensions yesterday and the 360x3 bench triple the day before, so I was pretty beat up coming into it. Loaded it because the last few weeks bench has felt heavy but moved so well on the video. Body weight was exactly half 197.5.
Pulled 670x7 the other day. 8th rep came forward on the floor and missed it halfway. Legs were more sore this week than on the 655x9 so I’m kind of expecting next week to go better.
Only hit 685x6 last week. I do expect more weight for a set of 6. We’ll see how this week goes. Benched 337x5 today not too happy about the pauses but I’m just getting over a cold so just wanted complete the set. First rep was the shortest pause. I may be forced to change my squat stance because of the knee pain. Going to see how that works out.
Coming off a cold, down 4-5 lbs and sore from the new squat stance. Pulled 700x5 (5th was like 99% locked) followed by a single at 750. And benched an all time pr double at 378 moved really well. No doubt I have around 407 in me on any good day. (407 would add 32 lbs to my comp bench) Ridiculous.
Hit 551x2 in squat. Some knee pain after, but I don’t think I could’ve hit it today with my normal stance. I will need minimum 606 to hold my own in this meet
