Happy new year. At the cost of my meet ( flights, hotel, meet fee, kabuki deadlift bar to prep) I better but something I’ll be proud of for a bit.

Pull might be along the lines of 805. Also not sure if I mentioned this but the way squatting had been going I might end up opening at or higher than my best Comp squat. Blows my mind Mt best total was 5 years ago and in the first few months Candito got my squat rolling with some momentum.

Squats feeling pretty good. Have a big squat double rpe8 coming up followed by a 745 pull unless deadlift feels unusually strong.

Have a squat double rpe9.5 and a heavy deadlift single this weekend. Went to the chiropractor this morning and back is feeling better. Heavy bench single Friday.

Getting logged back in was a chore. Squatted 582 double and pulled a single at 765 and 785. Won’t be posting some of the better lifts on ig for now till the comp most likely. Probably mention them in here. Bench did not go well though

Deer are dropping antlers and I’m out every few days for 2-5 miles looking and man all the movement seems to be relieving the pain in my lower back. I’ll take that as a win. Just started the next block. Maybe some big numbers coming at the end in a few weeks. Excited for squat the most I think. Just been feeling strong week after week.

Looks like some of the accessories are dropping off this wave. Had a big pr squat set of 9 in me and honestly maybe 10 in there if I could keep up with the breathing. 506x7 moved great, was only programmed 7 reps. Hit a back down set and still pulled 701 x2 with 2-3 in the tank. Bench might be turning around now too. Hit 345 x2 with a rep in the tank. Not my best but definitely going in the right direction

How often throughout the week do you work each lift?

Squat twice, deadlift twice and bench was 3 now bumped up to 4 times

Lower back kind of screwed me on a heavy deadlift day Saturday but a buddy is a physical therapist and talked with him a bit and seems like he miight be on to something saying I have tight erector muscles. Hit a top paused squat set of 5 at 493 rpe8.5. 11lb pr for me and lower back felt way better compare to Saturday. Don’t want to say it’s solved but the difference between how my back felt Saturday to today is like night and day.

Bit of a shit squat session last weekend. Single at 579 harder than it should’ve been. Some good news. It seems I might have found the fix for my knee and sciatic nerve. Have not bothered me in the last week. Took 591 single on squat today rpe9. Sciatic nerve was one of the main things bothering my deadlift and to less of an extent squat. Hopefully it’s not too late to add a few more lbs.

Knees and back still feeling great. Need to keep bench going shoulder / pec is a bit shit but working to keep the pain under control. Pulled a paused single at 665 today and a single on bench at 356. Have some heavy lifts coming this week. Possibly pr squat next Thursday if my back and knees continue feeling good.

My gym had a mock meet and kind of fucked me on using the powerlifting room. Hoping the uncalibrated gym plates weren’t too off in weight. Smoked 576 on them today, followed by a double at 556 that I posted. Heavy single coming this week.

Was hot today. About 20 degrees above normal temps lately. Snagged a small pr on squat at 616. Not fast by any means but steady all the way through. Treated it similar to a meet with a single at 546 and 586 before hand.
