Lower back felt beat the last week or so. It’s harder for me to squat heavy when my back ain’t feeling too great. Deadlift was a surprise cause warms just moved. Not sure how that happened.
Loaded 596 for squat today. Instant regret. I should’ve loaded 600-606. Felt pretty good all the way through. 15 lb pr
I think I’m gonna order the inzer sleeves in med. These large go on and off easy and slide down while I lift. For a brief second I thought about taking that squat single for a second rep. I think with some tighter sleeves and a good day I have more than 606 in me.
Started feeling a bit shity the day after my 710 pull. Might have to go see if I got covid again. Hoping strength doesn’t take a big hit
Not covid or the flu. Should be back lifting at the gym soon. Picking up half a dozen donuts to keep my weight up
Just came in to squat today. Top sets were 496x2 and 530x2. Weight felt heavy today. Hoping to feel almost back to normal by tomorrow

Best 181 total was 1630 I believe but I way under performed on deadlift. Pulled like 770 in training a few months before and only pulled 700 missing 730 cause the bar was a bit slippery.

Started working with candito the last two weeks so nothing heavy yet. Some knee pain and instability and a lot of fatigue and soreness haha. I stated rolling my teardrop on my left leg and my knee seems to feel better the next day. Gonna keep working on it to figure out what’s giving me the issues. Calf stretch between warm ups on squat are what’s keeping me going for now.
I don’t want to go too much into it but I have a meet picked out in the future and signed up already.
I started rolling my teardrop and tibialis anterior on the bad knee leg and a lot of the knee pain seems gone. Like 85-90%. If that gets my knee back on track i think squat might start moving nicely again. Would love to go 617+ in a meet. Plenty of time to build. Meets in 2023
Anyone know where I can get a kabuki deadlift bar quicker than their site. Looks like they’ll e email me in 6 weeks. I need to start training on one.
Hit a 530 squat single pretty fast and a set at 496x7 with about 2 reps in the tank. And paused a single on deadlift at 680 with 2 reps in the tank. Have a local buddy helping me with the knee pain and the last few squat and deadlift sessions have been little to no pain. If this keeps up I feel really good for the comp.
