Body weight abs or body weight everything ?

body weight core exercises
my routine is like this :
chest & tri
back & bi
legs & abs
shoulder & traps
off
then i repeat

This is going to be really hard. If staying natural, most people I know that have a good combo of bigish, aesthetic and natural had periods of not being aesthetic. I think it is possible and some do it (rare), but I have not seen anyone who I was impressed with that stayed lean and achieved much. Most I’ve seen that tried to do that stayed small with abs.

time will show i guess

Like I said it is not impossible. It is just very hard, IMO. I do know guys who have lean bulked, not gotten fat, and had abs the whole time. They had the Brad Pitt fight club look (they didn’t look that good though).

I’m not so sure about this… to get capped, 3D delts and monster traps naturally it’s very hard

But to be lean and shredded with a bit of muscle or very big and bulky with quite a bit of muscle (and a lot of fat) naturally both seem to be very achievable for the avg individual

Then you have the natural guys that work SUPER hard, have good genes, put blood, sweat, tears… everything they have into it… these guys can get aesthetic, big and generally look better than many guys on gear… @The_Mighty_Stu and @BrickHead come to mind, they’re big, aesthetic and peeled come competition time, looks better than probably 90% of guys on supra doses of gear

As to OP, you’re pics… you need to add mass everywhere before worrying about spot enhancement (I saw you’re pics), try lean bulking/bulking up for 6-12 months, once you’ve done that reassess, sometimes (but not always) weak points will even out themselves

I’ll start with what I’ve noticed… regarding you’re triceps… you’ve got good insertions, the muscles most important for an aesthetic look are

  • lats/upper back
  • triceps
  • shoulders
  • legs
  • traps

At least that’s my opinion

I don’t disagree with you here. I think the Brad pitt look from fight club is attainable for most without gear if they work really hard. If you want to look like Frank Zane, probably not happening. @aaronca is a good example of that look before he cycled.

I train for strength, so I took the path of putting on more fat and muscle. Here is a picture before I went on.

Now I’m not really aesthetic, and have too much fat, but there is muscle there. Opposite path of Aaron as I perma bulked. I feel from this starting point that if I cut I would look pretty good. Arms are not great, but I don’t work arms directly. My scale says I’m 25 percent body fat. Not sure if that’s right seems too high?

Not sure if that link works? Didn’t have anything from the front, so back shot is what I got.

Frank Zane isn’t possible for most guys on gear either… remember when we talk about these guys from the golden era, we’re talking about the genetic freaks… sure, he had an “ectomorphic” frame, but his insertions, where he stored fat, the size of his waist/proportions… he was VERY pleasing from an aesthetical standpoint

Also… you look closer to 18-20%, not 25… though everyone stores fat in different regions… my hips would be massive if I was 25%

Well Frank Zane has Mr Olympia wins, and has beat Arnold so totally agree that he is far above average.

Maybe I should say close to the Zane look. Maybe Stallone from Rocky 3 would be a better analogy.

You could probably get there after many years of training… briefly for a photo shoot/day on the beach, but maintaining that year round… good luck
