Congrats on your gains. I remember seeing some of your posts a long while back and you are moving at light speed. What does your training and diet look like? traditional split, 5/3/1/, DC or some unique A_B stuff?
It’s all boring stuff man, lol. Diet lately has been no food you’d classify as junk, and protein shakes. I don’t count cals, I try to get in 2x BW in protein, but it gets hard sometimes.
As far as training, it’s one bodypart per week. I’ll pick an amount of reps I want to hit, stick with it and bump up weight as often as possible which lately has been weekly.
Biggest thing has been hard work and consistency.

interesting. proportions and shape are sooo important. my surgical arm(the one without a triceps, lol) is 18 cold flexed, and my “good” arm is 18.5" cold flexed, and i dont feel like i have large arms at all. but a buddy of mine who is 6’3" 290lbs( i am 5’6" 240) to me has freaking HUGE arms, but when i had him measure them they were “only” 18". i guess no having a big gut like me helps.
same thing, some of the pics posted on this thread, the arms look HUGE, but others dont seem that impressive to me. but actually they all are about the same size.
Phil heath looked to be about 250lbs at the last Olympia…but I just read in MD that he was only around 225lbs.
So much of how you look rides on the shape and length of muscle bellies and joints that the measurement itself is never enough.
18" arms are generally indicative of someone who trains at least somewhat seriously, however, which is why getting to certain measurements can still be important.
that just makes me wonder how good hes gonna look when he does hit 250lbs onstage

Someone 6’5" shooting for 18" arms as a goal is a little different than someone 5’6" shooting for 18" arms as a goal.
Franko Columbu looked awesome with 18" arms, can you imagine what Lou Ferrigno would have looked like if his arms were only 18"? He’d look like me, and trust me it’s not impressive.

some of us dudes here are really close on facebook as well and we talk everyday not only lifting but bullshittong too. We got eachothers phone numbers and plan on attending the Arnold classic in 2010. So I got skype on my iPhone and I can’t see peoples face but we have recently made some calls and when you’ve talked to someone so much you basically no them and the akwardness if there is any is gone really quickly.
