My mistake. It is a psuh jerk and thanks for the compliments. He’s been training pretty hard to get ready for the APF meet in April at the Europa Show of Champions in Orlando, Fl. His goal is to hit a 500 squat, 305-315 bench and a 520-530 deadlift in the RAW division. Wish him luck!

Raw = no powerlifting gear. Typically a singlet, a belt knee sleeves or maybe knee wraps.

I hear ya, one could look at it that way. One could look at it in that Bodybuilders and Strongman wear them. Even gym rats wear belts and sometimes knee sleeves.etc. So I don’t consider belts ‘powerlifting’ gear. Squat suits and Bench shirts are a niche market usually reserved to people who call themselves ‘powerlifters’. That’s why I wrote what I wrote.

I guess to be completely ‘raw’ we would have to compete in the Naked Bulgarian Federation…lol
