Petrone is anything but beer… I don’t doubt that he was wasted for three hours after two shots. On New Year’s Eve I had about 7-8 shots of various specialties, Petrone being one of them, and they pack a punch. I almost never drink, ever, but New Years is a special occasion. I didn’t feel anything special as far as vascularity or pump, however 7 shots is more than 2 so it’s quite possible I wouldn’t have known it if I had.

I managed to hold a L-sit for 1 min 30 seconds the other night after I had a few shots of vodka.

Normally I can only hold it for about a minute. I guess its because I couldn’t feel the pain as much.

feel good. improving on some lifts and hardly any soreness.

my workouts are going quicker too.

I tried this last week and actually felt a little stronger. I decided to take it one step further.

I have seen it suggested that one can sip Surge during the workout to improve results, so I tried my own experiment. I threw some 151, Surge, and some ice into my martini shaker, mixed it up, poured it into my shaker bottle, and headed to the gym. The results have been phenomenal!!

My bench has gone up ten pounds each workout and I have yet to feel any DOMS.

Do you think would work even better with a higher proof alcohol? Should I move up to Everclear? Should I skip the Surge and just sip my pre-workout drink during the training session?

yes…but its only been going on for a week. my plan is to stop the second i feel its not working instead of upping the shots. then try it again down the line in a couple of months. i’ll cycle 151 like creatine.
