13 Yr Old Girl Benches 240 Raw

Lol yeah bro, sumo deadlifts are for those who have sandy vaginas. So are wide stance squats, and low bar squatting in general.

I would imagine if I were a full grown man with a bench of 215 I would be looking for any reason to tear those lifts down, alas I am not, so good for her. Imagine how many people are going to feel like switching to triathalons and crossfit when she is 22.

My faith in this forum is being restored, slowly but surely …

<3 I’m glad

This forum is still pretty legit. I hope it stays that way.

Glad to see there’s so many sane people still around here. Some damn fine lifting by that young lady.

Apparently her numbers may have offended a few smaller men which effected their self esteem and ultimately jeopardized their manhood. To That I say give the girl her due prop’s and recognition for achieving what she did and to further the embarrassment of those who are maxing out with her warm up sets.

BTW - who ever it was that said" welcome to powerlifting, can we show you around" comment. I laughed so hard my balls jiggled a little. Thanks

I suppose that’s true. I sent this thread to a buddy who benches about the same amount to give him a hard time.

Happy to jiggle your balls sir. (I’m sure you get that a lot)

I don’t like to jiggle some balls, those homo’s in all that protective gear playing with balls can go touch their balls or other teams balls. I’m just not a fan of goofing around with balls, I am more of a bar person.

this is awesome and I really don’t get why anyone on a PL forum could think otherwise

ps bench didn’t count because she hover-handed that hug with Dana Bailey

Bigredmachine complaining about arching in the bench? This is new…

Am I the only one who finds this very weird? Take a step back. A kid, if he really wants too, should do things that develop more overall fitness than participating in some dumbass weighlifting sub-culture sub-event. I mean what the fuck is that.

Really? Who are you to tell some kid what he/she should participate in? Especially someone from Russia, where strength sports are just as popular as team sports. You’re pathetic.

  1. The Animal Cage is actually a pretty big deal. They usually bring in some top powerlifters, bodybuilders, strongmen, etc. West Side was there last year, this year there was Brandon Lilly, the Lillebridges, Chad Wesley smith, etc.

  2. She did a powerlifting meet the day after this was filmed, and benched just as much if not more in competition.

Yes you’re the only one.

I read the comments on YouTube under this video. Now I am really pissed off. Filled with fury. Feel like going to the 24 hour gym in the town and smash 45lbs plate over the face of the first bro-science lifter who will tell me, that real bench is done with the back completely flat. But if I could find the guy who commented that the girl did not lift raw because she used wrist wraps…now that would make me very happy.

Or maybe I’ll just feed the fury and unleash it tomorrow on my deadlift.

In life in general, I think you can measure the amount of success by the number of your haters. That means she’s doing awsome!

Because a competitive powerlifter wouldn’t be concerned primarily with the numbers he/she lifts?

This bullshit about using less of an arch “so that the lift is more impressive” is like asking the Miami Heat to play only four men on defense and make the games more exciting.[/quote]

Ha! It’s more like calling the Heat “cheaters” for being too tall! Ridiculous! Yeah, she has an awesome arch, but look how tight her entire body is throughout the lift. Very impressive! Textbook bench press.

I find it weird you are commenting on an internet forum when you should spend your free time doing something more productive.
