This is my stepson who just totalled 635 in training. A 200 squat, 135 bench, 300 deadlift. He will compete Saturday in Sacramento at an APA Raw meet. I’m very proud of him.

Damn
Solid as a brick. You did good.
Very impressive. He’s got potential, I’m sure. Hope he continues to enjoy it.
Damn, that’s really impressive. I agree with H4M in that I hope he continues to enjoy something that he obviously has the natural talent for.

Nice work. I’m sure he’s enjoying it.
You have good reason to be proud. How long has he been training? I would love to see more youngsters on the deadlifting platform, certainly rare in my area.
Henry been lifting seriously with me since about January. He powerlifts on Sundays, olympic lifts Monday, and does a combo OL/PL assistance lifts on Thursday. Twice a week he does a crossfit-like class at our gym.
That was a grinder, great lift.
Great lift.
You’ve taught him well
That is so awesome!! I hope my kid wants to do stuff like that when he is finished being 5 and whatnot.
Right now all he cares about is zombies
That was badass!

That’s pretty awesome. Keep the kid exposed to all sorts of activity. Who knows, maybe he won’t get into powerlifting that much, but then turn out to be a great olympic lifter or play a sport.
He’s THIRTEEN
Damn when i was thirteen I think i weighed something like 85 pounds. I looked like a wet noodle. He’s got potential

That just made me really sad that I have to wait longer for “The Walking Dead” to come back on.

Is Season 2 on Netflix yet?
Might I suggest downloading the “plants VS zombies” game to help tide you over until your show returns.
YAY, I was finally able to give advice in the powerlifting section!! Best day ever.
But, going for a 1RM like that at such a young age is going to annihilate his epiphyseal growth plates, stunting his growth forever and condemning to a life of being 4 foot 2!!
(Just kidding, that is freaking awesome, good on your step-son!)

Suggestion noted… and this game is making being productive very difficult. I may have to quit one of my 3 jobs to protect my yard.
If you really don’t want to be productive ever try zombie farm. The perfectmixture of farming and zombie invasions. Except the zombies are on your team. Unfortunately my zombie farm is in the pocket of an airplane seat and will most likely never be seen again.
