100mg trt enough?

Been on for a month now. 50mg x2 a week. 2 more month’s until bloodwork. Post trt prescription my total t was 75 and free t was 2.8. I know nobody’s gonna have a set in stone answer but just curious where you think my level will be at nxt bloodwork. I just cant imagine (having ran blasts in the past) 100mg a week doing much. But…have a couple buddy’s saying it will probably put me in the 600 range. I know i was hoping to see more from in at 1 month mark

100 mg/week keeps my free T high normal. Give it time. I’ve never blasted or taken more than 120 mg/week. But if its true TRT, apples and oranges I would suspect compared to high dose use. One is health and achieving normal physologic levels. Blasting is, well, blasting!

200mg every 2 weeks had me go from 38-42 total T to the low 400s in a few months, and then 500s and 600s in 1 and 2 years respectively.

That’s what I run. Total T numbers don’t matter nearly as much as how I feel. I try to take the minimum effective dose. 100 puts me right there. Gives me the energy I need, libido and recovery to train hard, and little side effects on blood pressure and higher hematocrit. Mine was 49 as of Tuesday’s test.

Makes no difference what your numbers are. It’s how you feel. More is not better.

30mgs every other day (105mgs/week average) has been my TRT protocol for several years now. My total T is consistently in the high 700s.

Aparently the disparity in reaction has to do with androgen tail length. For me, i have been told by doctors that 250/week is essentially safe infinitely as a middle aged man

I’ve been restricted to about 100mg/wk test as I’m a heavy aromatizer… like I’m recovering from gyno surgery as i type this.

In my experience, 100mg/wk is not enough to feel “sufficient”.
I ‘backfill’ with masteron as it doesnt aromatize while still getting the test levels where i feel good.

I will say that 120-150mg/wk felt the same as 200mg/wk for me.
I’m also very low SHBG so if i have to pin at least 3x per week or i start feeling the drop in levels. I clear gear fast.

Your mileage may vary.

I am running 375mg at 45yo, about 6 weeks on now. BP is great, RBC didn’t change, blood work is great, going for another heart scan in a month. So far all good.

I generally don’t associate any dose with ‘safe’, since safety depends on the individuals health and genetics and response to hormones. But if you can keep everything in the green, run the doses as high as you can, IMO. That’s just gonna be different for everyone.

How is that on lipids for you?

Years ago I found mast even in low dose dropped my HDL quite a bit

How many of you are using cyp vs Enanthate for your trt?

There is some interesting data that is showing that cyp does not peak as high as enanthate and the theory is that it’s due to the ring that cyp has versus a straight chain fatty acid.

Yes. I test at 700 to 1000 ng/dl on any given day with 100 mg once per week.

With 10 g of gel daily I tested the same.

However, I’m not someone hung up on numbers and don’t believe the vast majority of people can feel any differences in quality of life because of differences of T values in the mid to high normal range (500 to 1000). There is no “optimizing” TRT.

Cyp since 2013. Gels from 2002 to 2013.

I noticed no difference between the two

Did you have blood panels on each?

A peer reviewed study is going to drop in the next few weeks.
Kurt Havens, Dr. Dean StMartin and V. Steve were chatting about the results thus far.

My lipids were fine. Actually significantly improved since last blood draw. Probably more a byproduct of an ultra clean diet, but still.

See thats where im struggling still. My recovery is kicking my butt. Libido still not there. Moody as heck. Your level was 49 while on 200 every 2 weeks?!? To your statement total t numbers dont matter as much as how I feel. I know a baseline 500 may feel great for one person and terrible for another so theres truth to that. But at 75 I felt HORRIBLE. Now I feel “bad”. When I ran 500 on blast i felt amazing. I know one cant live on 500 a week. Or at least its not safe. But theres gotta be a happy place somewhere in between. I know i know its not a sprint its a marathon. But as much as i despise needles it sure sucks to think it isn’t putting me wherebi need to be. When i first went on trt i screwed up and drew it up wrong the first 3 weeks. Was taking 200 a week. The realized it and cut in half. At week 3,4,5 i felt awesome. Then started slowly going backwards again

Not a sprint…a marathon. I get it. I just hate needles. If im sticking myself i wanna see/feel results before 1-2 years. I feel best in the 700-800 range. Really hoping when I get nxt bloods they up me to 200weekly

True to an extent. But if i still feel like garbage. If my nxt bloods show im still really low then id say more is better. Now…im not saying 500 a week by any means. Its just odd to me everyone i know personally is on 200 weekly. My dr put me on 200 eow and my numbers were a lot worse than theirs. They walking around feeling 25 years old im walking around feeling 65 lol

Thats whats up
